Not really. It's confirmed already there will be a time skip before season 4. All the relevant stuff is that the heroes confirmed Viren's status, which can be easily handwaved with a timeskip. Also the phoenix will be back, but that doesn't really need explanaition, because its a fucking phoenix, they come back.
