there's not a lot in the way of lore, how the show is purposefully constructed as mainly episodic. but there have been rumors of a deeper story last i checked

I just started Mao Mao, 5 episodes in. I really like it, it has a really good sense of humor so far. Not too lampshady or 4th wall breaking like OKKO, just classic wacky that feels a bit more genuine.
My only problem is Adorabat can be a bit too based on shouting her lines and making noises, but it's not all she does so hopefully it keeps at around this level.
