>noooooooooo I don’t like the school seasons

I'd throw She-Ra in as fairly solid.
Major takeaway is that we're not a board spoiled by lots of good endings.

I like the school seasons what got me more was the switch to digital. But I didn't mind it. I also have a negative predisposition to school environments or settings but thats not an EEE thing I just fucking hate school.

I guess a shitty show ending still shitty counts as "ending on the writer's terms."
We should aim for better though.

>tmnt 2012
>bad ending
Bullshit, that ending was wonderful. TMNT doesn't really ever get a happy ending.

Actually this whole list is shit. Kys for wasting my time like that.

Having an "unhappy ending" is one thing, ending your series parodying a movie series that's getting temporary attention is another.

Honestly, this show gets better every time you think about it.

Well it could have ended at multiple points (Really didn't need Fast Forward)
But hey I'd say the original topped it off really well

It wasn't parodying anything, the post apocalypse shit has been around forever.

The best example other than Moral Orel and E,E,n’E

>It wasn't parodying anything
Mate, it couldn't have been more obviously cribbing from Mad Max if they titled it "TMNT: A Mad Max Homage." Had Leo in a Humongous getup and everything.
Damn shame because there was already a better and more unique TMNT Apocalypse already done for the RPG game.

You can tell there was some bits of improvisation in terms of story. The end of JLU S2 served as a reasonable bookend to the DCAU, and when they got renewed they had to make what became sort of a superfriends throwback. Damn good episodes in both seasons though. One of the greatest adaptations of Alan Moore story ever done.

Nah user, it fell apart the minute they did Fast Forward. It wasn't just "unnecessary" it was largely bad. You could tell they'd exhausted the shit they were actually interested in doing and were just spitballing things that might keep the 8-14 yo boy demographic happy, with a handful of good bits rising to the surface of the "we weren't expecting to go on this long" stew.

Why were they considered heroes when it was just Eddy fessing up to his bullshit and getting victimized by his brother?

>TMNT RPG

The fucking what? I knew there were platfomers, sidescrollers. and fighting games, but a fucking RPG?

>my retarded coomer brain can only see mad max
Idiot. This is your last (You) from me.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness. We got a post-Apocalyptic setting in the "after the bomb" supplement, and it was pretty nifty.

Oh thank fuck.

She-Ra had a solid ending.

Could've been better, but one of the top endings we've gotten.
That's a low bar though. Most of our things don't even get an ending.

The school seasons sucked, not because they were in school but the character personalities got too flanderized

edgy

>dyke ra
>

Codename: Kids next door
Something tells me that if i watch the last episode again I'm gonna start crying.

>stating a fact is edgy

Eddy’s the leader so if he’s redeemed, the other two Eds will be too.

I wonder what Eddy did after being redeemed in the eyes of the kids
His entire personality and hobbies revolved around fucking them over and trying to be accepted, where does he go from there?

he becomes the local merchant trading favors and shit for jawbreakers

Digimon Adventure

When Palmon's hat flies off goddamn

Providing legitimate services free of charge to the kids or coming up with actual get rich schemes that would benefit himself and others. To be honest I can only see him becoming real friends with half the cul-de-sac kids assholes like Sarah and Kevin are irredeemable.

They wanted to keep going so it objectively didn't end on their terms. They were just smart enough to contain story arcs to seasons.

>mad max
>coomer
What? There's almost no sexualization in those movies if anything people are intentionally made unsexy

It's one thing that he was redeemed and the others were also by association. But, why lauded as heroes?

It may have fallen apart but it came back well enough for the ending
