Nothing wrong with her ear asshole!

Just normal squanchy fashion.

You're implying it's broken. We don't know her species' culture, that could be a mark of significance.

Squanchy seemed like a coked-out tweaker
T'Ana seems like an overworked professor

They aren't a monolith.

I thought that character was a guy, because it looks like one and aren't orange cats male? Is that thing supposed to be an ugly dyke furry or something?

caitposting will save your soul
I bet she has a cool backstory

>aren't orange cats male
No, but 99% of calico are female.

Besides, she's not a cat, she's a Caitian, and every Caitian we've seen has been orange.

>Besides, she's not a cat, she's a Caitian, and every Caitian we've seen has been orange.
I looked at google images for 'Caitian' and every other example of one looks lion-like, I wonder why they made this character look like an orange tabby instead.

>little art of her
this is fucking criminal

I'm just getting into Star Trek and I'm midway season 5 of TNG. TNG and DS9 is always referred to the series at its peak but is Voyager and Enterprise any good?

Is the cartoon good as like one of this 'It's not a good X show/game' or is it just plain not good?

I think in the films, we've only ever seen male caitians. Female caitians have only ever been in cartoons

I really like Enterprise, but I'm biased because it was my first Trek. However, having since watched a few other series, I can safely say that Enterprise is the last "Trek-Style" Star Trek show. As in, actual episodic dramas featuring high-concept problems.
Technically the Orville is also a "Trek-Style" show, but it's not in-universe. Still worth a watch though.

She offered to fix Mariner's scars, but she can't heal a hole in her ear?
Maybe she keeps it as a similar sort of trophy/reminder, but of something unpleasant, and her remark to Mariner about a "scratching post" is a bit of misdirected self-hate

Voyager has some decent episodes (notably anything concerning The Doctor) but for the most part it came at a time when Trek mania was starting to fizzle out. Enterprise was the attempt to cleanse the series pallet and actually did some good arc style stories, but it sadly couldnt reignite the fires TNG started and was the first series besides TOS to be cancelled.

I havent seen Discovery or Picard but from what I gather they're Trek-in-name-only

Whats the stangest interspecies pairing seen in ST?

Spam her to Plague of Gripes.

A Klingon woman once found Riker attractive, though that might have just been banter.

Gilf-tten

That means a gilf cat I'd like to

There was that time Riker hooked up with a member of a sexually androgynous species.....somehow

They're on par with each other. VOY's good episodes are spread out over its run, while ENT's good episodes are mostly clustered in S4. I think that if ENT had gotten one or two more seasons on the level of S4 it would be much more fondly remembered. Hell, it'd probably be more fondly remembered if its finale wasn't absolute dogshit.

>shit, we're cancelled! How can we end the series proper?
>uhh, ummmm, uhhhhhhhhhTHE FOUNDING OF THE FEDERATION
>aren't we like fifty story beats to go before we even touch in that?
>uhhhhhhhhhhhhIT'S RIKER WATCHING ON THE HOLODECK DURING THAT ONE TNG EPISODE
>which one?
>THE PEGASUS ONE, WITH THE SHIP STUCK IN THE ASTEROID
>why that one?
>I DUNNO IT JUST WORKS, HERES THE BUDGET, GET FILMING

>Caitian
Doesn't look like one.

The whole thing was a bunch of shit that no one cared about happened without setup, then the Federation is founded, then fat Riker, then the episode - and possibly the entire series - turns out to be a hologram, every viewer is pissed off, roll credits. The worst part is that a flashforward episode could have worked. Imagine if the finale was presented as an in-universe documentary about the lead up to the founding of the Federation with the episode being interspersed with interviews of the cast in the future giving 4th-wall context and commentary to an in-universe audience.

Sauce please

At first I thought it was from the practice of clipping the corners of cat ears when an organization has captured and spayed one, so that they don't go through the trouble of spaying the same one twice.

but that's just a very subtle rounding of the corner of the ear. this is a fucking bite.

it's a LOVE mark
