The only people who say otherwise are always in a pretty specific 30-40 year old demographic and usually very politically liberal, have a blue checkmark on twitter and like to make le sick simpsons references on there.
Yet people 50+ (your parents, your parents friends, etc) all realize Family Guy is 10x funnier and anyone under 30 also does as well.
The Simpsons aged so fucking horribly and 80% of the 'jokes' on that show are pure cringe, (D'OH, MMM DONUTS, ARE WE THERE YET ARE WE THERE YET, COWABUNGA DUDE, BUUURP, EAT MY SHORTS, WHY U LITTLE, DON'T HAVE A COW MAN, etc.). Family Guy is much wittier than that and never relied on shitty catchphrases and jokes to stay relevant.
Based and thank you bringing this up, people are finally noticing and understanding that The Simpsons was never good and it's "golden era" was mediocre at best. Family Guy will always be actually remembered and remembered fondly because at the end of the day it is better and always was no matter what era of the shows we're talking about. >inb4 that dude that lurks 24/7 seething about zoomers has a mental breakdown over muh "zoomers"
Yes, Simpsons won an Emmy last year, which Al Jean bragged about to the fans
Dylan Wood
People vote for The Simpsons at the Emmys? What kind of status symbol is that supposed to be, you’ve already made your mark on pop culture. What the hell would the competition be such that The Simpsons beat them?
Logan Baker
Hollywood awards mean nothing in terms of value.
Adam Kelly
Golden age simpsons>Golden age family guy. Modern family guy>modern simpsons
No. Even Modern Simpsons is still better than Modern Family Guy. Family Guy is one of the most cynical and unfunny shows out there right now and even though Simpsons still isn't good, the show still has moments of warmth. For that reason alone it is a better show than Family Guy
Josiah Bell
>t. has only watched post-2000 simpsons episodes.
Colton Collins
>giving a shit about Family Guy and Simpsons
You're scratching the barrel.
Dylan Gutierrez
Even when I watch a brand new episode of Family Guy I find myself regularly asking if I've seen this one... because they're all the same. Family Guy is just robot chicken with a half-assed story connecting the """gags""".
John Morgan
>The Simpsons aged so fucking horribly old simpsons are still good it's the new simpsons that are fucking lifeless
Connor Allen
is Giggity, Shut Up Meg, What The Deuce, [fart noise], and 15 minutes of trying to put a frog in a box really better?
Cooper Nelson
why is this one autist posting 50 family guy threads per day?
Tyler Sanders
This thread is now a "Post kino Simpsons moments" thread.
I think Family Guy might be seen as better because it has the occasional funny joke. It'd probably have more if it didn't kneecap itself with the urge to sour it by adding bitter little endnotes to finished punchlines. That's the strength of a style of humor that's based around nonsequitors. Family Guy is dog shit storylines with unlikable characters but can manage to squeak out one or two good gags an episode. Modern Simpsons is a flatline all the way through even if it never reaches the lows of Family Guy. Now put that through the lens of a bunch of Zoomers who have never been endeared to the Simpsons in the first place because they were born after the good seasons of Simpsons and they're just a boring show you can't ever imagine anyone liking. Family Guy at the very least is a comedy show that manages to be funny to them.
Current Simpsons is such a big pile of nothing that of course Family Guy seems like the better show.
Luke Allen
>Yet people 50+ (your parents, your parents friends, etc) all realize Family Guy is 10x funnier and anyone under 30 also does as well. Did bellcurve fags get bored relying on IQ scores for that meme, or what? Family Guy's biggest audience will always be millenials.

Blake Davis
Some reviewer on IGN dared to say that older Simpsons episodes were mediocre at best, compared to the first 3 seasons of FamGuy.
Kill yourself.

Cringe, I bet you cry when Meg gets abused
Noah Bell
Classic Family Guy is to Zoomers as classic Simpsons is to Millennials, this is why you see all these zoomies praising it, they never grew up with good Simpsons.
It has it's moments, but it's more shit than good >Only one person can talk about FG Autism
Chase Hill
>>Only one person can talk about FG >Autism Multiple people can shitpost sneed. It's so obvious that this popularity burst for FG is not sincere (for the most part) and concentrated on Zig Forums
