Just went through Crisis Jung this week after having it in my backlog for a bit. I was familiar with Bobbypills/Blackpills work with Les Kassos and Peepoodo, so I have a bit of an idea what to expect. Even after 3 episodes I knew this was going to be an amazing, memorable piece of work.
French animation has a reputation for being unrestrained and perverse, second only to Japan, and that's why I love it. This show was right up my alley. There was clearly a very small budget and lots of reused animation/shortcuts, but it was just so dense with creative energy that it did not at all feel cheap at any point.
i didn't care for it. it's disappointing seeing perin's animation having to get cheaper, less fluid, and cut corners from his early music video work to lastman to crisis jung.

I agree that Bobbypills could stand to lengthen their deadlines and use higher frame rates for their cartoons. The choppy look works perfectly for Vermin's crude yet appealing art style, but it sort of clashes with Crisis Jung and Super Fuck Friends.
Doesn't bother me enough to avoid the shows altogether, but it does leave me wanting smoother animation.
Top notch miniseries, funny as hell. Even the constantly reused animation worked comedically

>could stand to lengthen their deadlines and use higher frame rates Hard to do that with no budget

One thing is a music video and other way different is an actual animated short, didn't like the limited animation, but overall is a pretty memorable series.
