I enjoyed Amity's redemption arc and was holding out for them to actually do something with the premise of the show and Eda being Luz's nominal mentor. But then they retconned Amity's flaws and had her character development occur between episodes so she could be the lesbian love interest and the finale made it crystal clear they were lying all along about the premise of the Owl House.
