Breyfogle Batman Storytime

Best Bats artist, real shame he died.
Here's a personal favorite of mine.
Enjoy

This framing makes batman feel like an all powerful narrator. Like hes the Spector or something. It just doesnt happen like this nowadays. F for a great artist.

I liked this guy, I had Batman 455 when I was a kid and some of drawings in there gave me the willies like some guy peeling his face off and this ghostface ax murderer, pretty dark stuff.

Still some great stories today, wish more were one-and-done and DC wasn't obsessed with Joker, HQuin, multi-brand events and bloody reboots for their rebooted reboot

He really was great, loved his style and how he drew both Batman and his world. He was like DC's McFarlane to me, still is.

Forgot page and should say, he was like McFarlane but not an egomaniac. Important part, that.

it sounds weird maybe but I like the way he does shadowy faces, he's quite good at it and he can make them expressive too

Not weird at all man, he made Bats' world dark and broody without it being silly and over-the-top.

Yeah, it's very appropriate, I like a lot of face shadows in a book like Batman, helps with the mood and not just Batman's face either

Thanks op. Checked

very based choice OP
