Can someone explain how "calarts style" became such a huge meme on here but no one talks about the "adult" animation artstyle being the exact same for nearly every show? It's like Family Guy came out and set the standard for every single adult oreintated cartoon forever and if something looks different it's because it's deliberately trying to look grotesque like Big Mouth. When I did the female variant I copypasted and only changed the features, I was shocked at how "different" she looked with such minor changes. I'm gonna do a followup where I just change the hair, eyebrows and nose and see how many characters I can make.

Really there are a ton of reasons why it's not more of a hot topic online than it already is. Personally, childrens cartoons being shit is a lot more offensive than cartoons for adults being shit on a societal scale due to the target audience. Shitty cartoons for children will help mold them into dumb retarded adults while shitty cartoons for adults won't do that to the same degree without far more prolonged exposure in comparison. Also the backlash towards calarts is heightened because there are a lot of retards online that actually like the style because the cartoons that feature it generally align with their political views. You can't really say the same for something like brickleberry because everyone hates it. If everyone hates it already it will get a lot less flack online.
