Steven Universe

flapjack for the disgusting close up frames and creepy effects

Flapjack. It shows all things they learned from experimenting in Chowder.

Flapjack

I feel like Chowder's setting was a bit more versatile in sheer variety of plots they could do, but I liked the tall-tale arabian-nights influences in nearly every flapjack episode.

I preferred Chowder, but there is no objective answer here

Lazlo

chowder with a slight edge

Flapjack

Flapjack

Chowder

I loved Chowder, but Flapjack is consistently more fun on average.

Chowder, more of it's jokes stick the landing

Chowder, i prefer the comedy there

FPWP

I had more fun with Flapjack.

As a kid, i'd say Chowder. Today, i'd say Flapjack

Chowder. I never liked Flapjack despite both series having the same kind of humor.

Dead even

This

Chowder for me. The humor was always spot on where Flapjack was hit or miss, for me.

fpbp

both are forgettable

Flapjack but it's so damn close, someone start a strawpoll

Harvey Beaks

both amazing but i liked flapjack more

chowder was funnier overall, but I kinda prefer flapjack because I like the art style more
it comes down to preference really

Flapjack is more consistently good, but there's quite a few hilarious Chowder episodes that make the whole show worth watching. I also like Chowder's characters more.

Of the two, I generally PREFERRED Flapjack because I personally just didn't care for the cooking themes of Chowder. I don't find cooking terribly enjoyable, honestly.

But since you're asking which was BETTER, I'd say Chowder. Gross-out """humor""" isn't funny, it's just... gross. I don't want to be disgusted.

Barring that, it's pretty damn close though.

Now that's difficult.

chowder but they are both on the same level
i wish these shows had a bigger influence

I liked flapjack’s characters better. Sassy black whale and a kid’s show version of a drunkard with a body almost entirely made of wood are genius ideas.
