Make Batman better

What would you change about Batman? What would make him better as a hero? Back to basics? Sidekicks? Someone new in the cowl? New rogues?

We need to make the Bat-Family feel more like a family and less like a bunch of cunts that barely put up with one another. They need to be more like the Fast and Furious' mi familia.
We also need more books about Bruce adolescence in Gotham and his time travelling the world with his kung-fu pals.

I'd remove the martial artist background and to put more emphasis on detective work. He'd still be able to take on one or two mooks but anything more and he'll need to fall back on weapons, ambushes and outright retreating.

Morrison had the right idea with Batman Inc. Bruce Wayne is a billionaire peak human genius with near limitless resources and bleeding edge technology yet all he does is beat up escaped mental patients. He has the ability to change the world for the better in a very real way and instead he spends millions on a new batmobile so he can catch up with the Riddler.

Batman should have bigger fish to fry than a deformed district attorney who wants to shoot people. Let's see him get proactive about stopping crime and try to actually change the world.

Make him knock out random thugs, em-thesis on him financing gotham to be better, start it as a literal shithole that even funding cant save because of the mob stealing money, make it where batman is a symbol of Justice, and that the police will hate him because he steals their money. Bruce will build a fuckload of buildings that will help gotham, to big time criminals he will fuck up, but nearly fail half of the time. he will start as an asshole, but will later break in tears after talking to alfred giving him a reality check that he is not an army, but a man, he later adopts robin but keeps him at base, making sure he doesnt get hurt. the robins are just trained most of his life, but later lets him do vigilante work when he turns in his teen years. batman doesnt really try to save the joker after joker kills Jason, he just lets him die unless joker has info on mobsters. and in the scene where jason is pointing a gun and an explosion occours in the building, batman jumps to jason to save him from the explosin, and it pisses of joker

Cut all his ties to the Justice League, every Batfamily member except for Robin can go. The run is focused on the logistics behind Arkham Asylum, where he spends most of his time on. He's determined to destroy the root of evil, and not just through physical violence.

Have him beat Superman’s ass so thoroughly that Superman begs to be his new Robin and train under him to learn how to be a better hero, Lois Lane then becomes Batman’s girlfriend as Batman begins a new arc teaching Clark how to be a better hero, despite the fact he was born spoiled with powers.

Just make Batman a villain and having him snap. He's already got contingency plans on how to take out other heroes if they go against so why not make this canon.

I think that’s what he’s saying to Joker there, aswell. Joker wants him to be just as terrible as he is, and Batman mocks people like him by staying human nonetheless.

Retool the family so that Batman is the only vigilante in Gotham, while his sidekicks have all dispersed to different cities. Keep him focused on being a detective rather than a brawler, someone the GCPD calls in to solve mysteries they can't crack rather than just a super soldier that stops armies.

He'd be a tinkerer, someone that builds all his own gadgets to solve individual dilemmas rather than a superspy that pulls out new toys out of his ass whenever he encounters a problem.

His foes would be less cataclysmic, and more grounded and human. The Joker isn't a world-class terrorist, but a viciously cunning mobster that isn't interested in committing a crime unless he can find a punchline, shit like that. All his enemies, old and new, would have that key human element that grounds them, rather than pure evil I'd want to show how their lives went wrong to pull them onto the path they're on, and how Batman can relate to each of them.

I'd keep Catwoman as his wife just because I believe the pairing can work without King involved, but in the public eye Selina Kyle is divorced from Bruce and has gone back to a life of crime. In reality she's just using that as a cover to rob the crooks of Gotham of their ill-gotten gains, and kicks back any juicy Intel to Batman.

Batman at this point would be well past his childhood trauma. He'd be a man that has centered himself in his crusade, and rather than an obsessive mission it has become a passion. He uses Batman to seek out and destroy the cancerous roots of Gotham, while as Bruce Wayne he nurtures the innocent and gives them the resources to rise above their suffering. He fights to give the people of Gotham a better chance than he ever had.

I have some copypasta pitches for Batman and Batfamily runs, but apparently they trigger some autist to help and back so I won't post them.

Compare OP's pic to the Batman Beyond suit in pic-related. He wants to scare criminals but still look like someone that could protect the innocent. Like I said it humanizes him, otherwise he just looks like some demonic monster.
