This reminds me of a time I did some fucksmithing about future Violet being a huge fat piece of shit.

The idea was that Violet discovers that she, like Sue Richards, can create constructs with her force fields. This leads Violet to conclude that she can essentially just let the constructs do all the work of crime fighting, while she effortlessly sits around at a safe distance, turning herself invisible to avoid any chance of detection by the bad guys. Cue five or six years of this, and Violet's become extraordinarily obese and out of shape, but her powers have enhanced so much that it doesn't even matter. She essentially keeps the city crime-free despite weighing a quarter-ton and being so out of shape she can't walk a block without stopping to rest.
