It's rather a surreal thriller with some elements of dark comedy, Mischief is genuinely terrifying but he's not there for the sake of scary the spectator, actually, someone get used to his eerie appearance and actually is a pretty chill dude.

I watched with no preconceptions. The concept was decent if nothing inspired, but the execution was bad. Presumably Zig Forums doesn't discuss it because it's boring.

The legend of the Philadelphia Experiment was that they tried to make a ship turn invisible but accidentally created teleportation tech. In Interface, when the ship teleported it "unzipped" a supernatural dimension that was always here but that we couldn't see or interact with, the "static" are basically souls.
Kami is basically Kirby in that she retains the memories and supernatural powers of all the static she consumes, like the Vishnu hands from the ghost hand, or the octopus chef's memories of Henryk and Mischief.
It also seems like she's going after every "monster" that represents a body part, the ghost hand represented, well hands, the chef represented the heart, and Mischief represents probably a brain. Henryk I think represents the soul.

Basically, but they also want to usurp power in general, by "rebuilding communities", many of which they themselves have destroyed (like with the great-granddaughter's apartment), and of course they would have control of a bonafide god with no opponents so they could pretty much do anything without accountability.

I'm pretty sure the ghosts/static are not the interfaces. K.A.M.I. if I remember correctly stands for Kenetic Automated Mechanical Interface is, but I think she's a red herring. My guess is that people are going to turn out to be the real interfaces, which would explain why both Mischief and Henryk where depicted in the art gallery.

When it comes to animation Zig Forums doesn't really discuss anything but network cartoons and even then it is mostly about waifus or why it offends their right wing sensibilities.
Anyway I think Interface is cool. There just isn't much to discuss outside of wild theorizing at the moment.
What is wrong with Local 58?
It is a solid internet horror series despite a few dud episodes. I particularly like the Kids Cartoon episode.
Interface isn't even horror by the way.
