There's 33 kinds of paint that gives her specific powers but she can only apply 3, anymore and the paint harms her & powers are nullified. Water also melts off the paints. That's a short summary of the beginning of a 160 page graphic novel, you're gonna have to read the rest to get more but the book is pretty decent.
