For those of us who read comics; do most of you consider Endgame to be the "ending" to MCU? End of an arc? Going forward will you watch all MCU movie or just pick and chose?
For those of us who read comics; do most of you consider Endgame to be the "ending" to MCU? End of an arc...
It’s over for me. I’ll watch F4 and X-Men and if I catch any of the others I won’t headcanon them.
Nothing really “ends” in comics but yeah this was like a event finale. I’ll probably pick and choose from here on out, if that. Only interesting things I’ve heard is Moon Knight and She Hulk
Yeah it felt like a good ending to me.
I honestly can’t imagine sitting through another one.
For me the MCU up until Endgame felt classic marvel comics. Seeing the movies and plans going forward it feels like Marvel Now! When they tried to change everything and it failed.
I will maybe seeing a couple movie but most I will just read spoilers.
I think Endgame feels like a natural stopping point and it's going to be coupled with the fact that Disney can't put these movies out in theaters for who knows how long.
It feels like the momentum might've been lost at the worst possible moment and I wonder if this is where things will start to wobble.
Yeah, it definitely felt like the definitive ending of the story. Everything else will just feel like extras.
I’m only interested in Spider-Man 3, Dr. Strange 2 and She-Hulk.
Holy shit the people in this thread. HURR DURR PEOPLE OF COLOR AND SJW MARVEL BAD NOOOOO MY MOVIES ARE BEING RUINED
Grow up losers. White people arent that important.
I've only seen the first two Captain America movies, GOTG1 and Ant Man, which was my favorite.
I consider the end of a run.
Still planning on watching everything.
>It feels like the momentum might've been lost at the worst possible moment and I wonder if this is where things will start to wobble.
I feel the same. I think they could have kept the train moving if things went perfectly, but the timing of the theater shutdowns couldn't have been worse.
wrong thread?
what the fuck are you talking about you goddamn schizo
Because Marvel is making white characters black and adding people like Kamala comic book nerds are mad.
who the fuck is talking about that on this thread, it seems like your just baiting, either
A. Your a chapo or something like that trying to get people mad at you and trying to race bait
or
B.your a Zig Forums user trying to race bait and make people join your dumbass cause
Honestly it does feel like and end for me (even if the film was disappointing). I’ve seen what their line up is and I just don’t care as much. I’d probably only watch Bucky being Bucky and Wanda doing her shenanigans with robot man. But even then I’m not going out of my way to see it. If it ain’t on Netflix, then I don’t give a shit
End of an era, they started it all this capeshit craze. Now these movies feel more mundane. But as someone who mostly knew marvel because of spidey and x men I enjoyed whenever they released a movie of a hero I barely knew. BP, Guardians, or ANTZ had a different flavor, so I'll probably keep an eye on stuff like Shang-chi or Eternals.
Chapo?
An internet communist, a new term for people afraid to use /leftypol/
>Going forward will you watch all MCU movie or just pick and chose?
I always picked and chose, i think i only watched regularly in theaters starting from Winter Soldier
Of course an "arc" ended but technically i don't have any reason yet to stop caring, especially with sequels like GotG, Thor and Spiderman still coming. Looking forward to Black Widow since some cinemas are open again
dilate
I keep saying it's over for me but I'm lying to myself if I pretend I'm not gonna watch shit like GotG 3, Doctor Strange, Wandavision, etc.
I'm hoping Wanda gets put into a leadership role over Captain Carol, and that the meme from the comics holds true.
it's the ending to me
nothing else was set up, Thanos was the end boss. the movie is even called Endgame and tied up the loose endings to its two biggest characters. also it's just a coincidence but with all this covid shit happening Endgame feels like even more of a finale now that there's a drought of content.
Why do people hate the MCU now?
It's gay
It's just the beginning.
sterile overbloated movies that are forced on the general public. too many, too quickly, in too similar a format.
I’ll watch the last Tom Holland Spider-Man and then I’m done.
I honestly think the COVID split will help them out in the medium/long run.
A break after Endgame is what people needed.
I don't hate but I am afraid to keep desiring anxiously to see what is next.
A bunch of Zig Forumsalas barely matter .The usual audience for the mcu or cape movies in general is still there, moreover with covid not letting them enjoy their flicks.
2020 ending with EG and joker felt like a nice send-off for the genre. One for the heroes and one for the villains, perfectly balanced.
>It’s over for me. I’ll watch F4 and X-Men and if I catch any of the others I won’t headcanon them.
These comments, which are frequent, are CAP. You'll watch em all, nothing's over.
