How did this movie become so massive?

By bring the first one that wasn't already in preproduction when the merger finalized

This is gonna be the big reveal of the "next generation"of mcu characters. If they're smart they'll drop the "3" and call it avengers academy or something.

I hope they don't go "smallest hero defeats multiverse level threat but nobody knows". Scott deserves more credit.

>How did this movie become so massive?
Honestly, I'm worried that Marvel could be biting more than they can chew with Phase 4. Like every project comes with a tease of another character.
Falcon and Winter Soldier rumored to have the Thunderbolts
Wandavision to have Speed and Wiccan
Dr. Strange 2 has America Chavez as well as establish the Multiverse
Eternals has Black Knight
Loki has the Time Variance Authority
It just feels like they're just merging everything together in a weird way.

It's inevitable that if they want to maintain an elaborate interconnected universe with real actors they're going to have to insert backdoor pilots everywhere simply to deal with turnover and age. It doesn't seem that overwhelming when broken down into the individual pieces like that. Young Avengers will probably be shunted into a TV series instead of movies though because it's impossible to deal with Billy and Teddy with China and Russia.

What time travel movies references will they make

They desperately need a 'massive' movie right now. Momentum has dropped off a lot more than they likely intended after End Game, thanks to the theater shut downs.

It's questionable how much that aspect of the movie industry is going to come back. Theaters need very high sell-through to turn a profit, and that's simply not going to happen for a long time. Movie studios can reconfigure their businesses to deal with that.

Ant-Man is going to become the next big player in the MCU, going from a small time hero to someone that steps up and tries to handle bigger problems because most of the old guard is either dead or retired. Or that's what I hope at least.

Also, Paul Rudd has tons of charisma and can work with any actor that he is paired up with.

this is all Disney panicking over Captain marvel not becoming the new "iron man" with audiences. this plus losing Black panther means they have to give all they can in the next movies, and it means offering lots of heroes who can get their own movies if audience love them

Paul Rudd will become the babysitter for the Young Avengers.

No, this is too good an idea to ever happen.

MODOK confirmed too. Based Ant-Chad can't stop winning!

Easy to do with Ant-Man rather than an A-lister

>MODOK confirmed too.

Wrong.

Primer

and then we'll spend years debating who was who when and no one will ever know

>How did this movie become so massive?
Nobody gives a shit about the Ant-Man movies, why not fix that issue by making it actually important to the next story arc of the MCU?

>Nobody gives a shit
I do. Hank is one of my favorite Marvel characters and they did him a solid in the MCU. Scott is great too and Rudd nails him. Size changing is such a cool visual power and they did it really well. I am really looking forward to this movie and can't wait to see Hank meet Eternity

That and kids will age up really fast if there are 2 year breaks between films.

This is no longer an Ant-Man movie. It's like when Man of Steel 2 kept getting pumped full of characters until it became BVS

That too. I guess they're obviously going to age very quickly in Wandavision, but after that they need to slow down to have some proper teen drama and get those precious girl dollars.

there was a ant man 2?
I remember that he almost got stuck in the subatomic realm in the first movie and miraculous escaped.
Hinting that they were about to rescue the wife beater's wife on the second movie.
did they did that?

Yes, they got her back.

Yes, they did do that.

I hope it comes down Kang's 40th century armada vs an army of Giant Ants

did they indeed do this deed? or did they did diddly?

>an army of Giant Ants
Reminder that this was going to happen in Endgame, we were robbed.

The characters are pretty good, it's the movies themselves that are lame. I mean Ant Man and the Wasp feels like it was only made to setup a plot point in Endgame
