Rick and Morty

So what really happened?

more interestingly, low bar i know, does any one care?

saturday happened

Despite what Rick said because he's wants to seem edgy, I like to believe that actually happened.

Nothing dramatic. Rick probably pushed them away and felt like shit for it. He wishes that the thing that took them away was an outside force and not something entirely in his control.

Kid Beth is fuckin adorable

I hope they never tell us.
Faggots these days want the answers to every little thing. Just keep it a mystery.

>good writing is not paying off set-ups
ok

This is probably one of the things that should be answered.

Not him, but showing something they don't intend to explain isn't 'setting up' anything. It's literally saying 'we don't need to explain this shit' Nobody gives a fuck how Rick became Rick, the point is all Ricks do, we don't need to see every minute of his life and obviously they won't show it if they're smart because they'll save that for the movie.

Why?
Your headcanon will always be better than what they actually reveal.

whatever it was, its because rick is super duper smart he's so smart he's so fucking smart you don't even know he's also sad but he's super fuckign smart

Morty is Rick. Morty grows up, marries a smoking blonde, and then they flee into the past. Where he continues becoming Rick. MortyRick tries inventing something and shatters reality. Creating the infinite multiverse, and sending his wife into the void. MortyRick vanishes to find his wife for years at a time. The failure though completes his transition into Rickiest Rick.

Beautifully put. I hope this is the approach they go with should Beth's mother be further elaborated upon later down the line.

No. It will probably be like with Beth. He is given a choice and fucks off on his own then drinks heavily or pulls science shit so he forgets or think something else happened that is more bearable

wubba lubba dub dub

Whatever Rick’s history with Evil Morty is is going to be more interesting and important than what happened with him and his Beth.

how the fuck was Beth a child when Mulan got released?
Wouldn't that make her just barely 30 by now?

>Morty marries Annie
Hope he enjoys that puffy vagina

I love this episode for giving the world loli Beth.

>Beth was a child when Mulan got released
When and how was this revealed?

During the episode where they showed his "memory", rick stops at a Mcdonald's to order as much Szechuan sauce that they have, which was a promotional sauce for the release of Mulan before driving to his home.

Thing is though since all of this memory was made up, who knows if Beth being a kid for Mulan was real.

Unity is ricks wife and he knows this so he's lying to his wife lol

That was just a random memory Rick wanted to revisit. I don't think the episode ever stated that the McDonald's Szechuan Sauce promotion specifically took place during Beth's childhood.

Imagine being someone like ryan ridley and just sitting at your faithful writers desk, praying to hashem to "un fuck," the ip that is rick and morty lmao

good point

So if unity was in charge of those drone bugs then she wants rick duh, so swap that agent guy with his wife and there you have unity's "human form,"

She did get teen pregnant with sumer so she could be early 30s

Oh, Beth is definitely no more than 35.

Rick and Morty has a floating timeline, but this knowledge of Beth's current age would leave her in her teens at the time of Mulan's original 1998 release, not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things.

it is. the best lie is 99 percent truth and 1 percent you making them think it's a lie.

It’s amazing that no matter how many times the show says out loud It doesn’t matter, you thick-skulls will always find some way to obsess over the “deep meaning” of this show.

It’s like with the Mulan sauce shit. Rick’s grand escape and toppling of an empire was ultimately just in service of a forgotten McDonalds novelty item, that was the joke. But you fuckers all but rioted over getting it because you thought it would bring you closer to your god.

I thought it was about a "chinese orgy," lol
