Why is nobody talking about this film lol. Is it an actual big flop?

Yes. Next question.
maybe because it's not a comic or a cartoon
Zig Forums had a bunch of threads about this shit.
>Chinamen hate it because it pisses them off when westerners think chi is like the Force.
>SJWs hate it because the director, writers, and producers were white, and because they filmed near Uyghur concentration camps.
>Anti-SJWs hate it because it's blatant pandering to China.
>Fags hate it because they cut out Shang and I'll Make A Man Out Of You.
>Trannies hate it because it cut out Reflection and maybe other trans themes? I don't know.
>Disneyfags hate it because Disney makes you pay $30 on top of a Disney+ subscription to watch it once.
You know exactly why fag, now let it die
Because it is boring and lifeless and Mulan is a, you guessed, a Maria Sullivan.
What the fuck do you care? A movie full of unknowns is released as a marketing experiment during a pandemic quarantine and it doesn't do well.
》》Half wit runs toshiro chan tocrowabout it.
Why does dad beat mom?
It's incredible how Disney singlehandedly ruined every target possible
People are talking about it though. How bad it is that it.
Well, what film is it? Don't keep us in suspense.
>they cut out Shang and I'll Make A Man Out Of You.
Was paying for Jackie Chan's song too expensive?

$40 during a pandemic when people don't even have jobs. Wtf was Disney thinking?
Because she spent your college fund and this year's christmas budget shopping for things for herself.
Again.
I haven’t seen it. I have D+, but I’m not paying the extra $30 fee, so it unlocks for me in December. I’ll make a thread about it then.
Obviously it's from images- 1
It's literally not Zig Forums though in every single aspect. I know, we talk about the MCU because despite them being live action, they are adaptations (loosely) of Zig Forums properties, and people can argue that slippery slope till their blood vessels burst, but this isn't it.
This is an adaptation of a story in live action that happened to have had a popular Zig Forums adaptation at one point. But this is not an adaptation OF that Zig Forums adaptation.
For example, it would be like saying 1981's Excalibur is Zig Forums because Disney told a King Arthur story in 1963's The Sword in the Stone.
I know people shout "not Zig Forums" at a lot of things, but this is literally not Zig Forums unless being Disney is the only requirement nowadays.
Thank you for attending my TEDx.
It is interesting. The Lion King received a similarly negative reaction, but I saw a lot more people talking about it. Maybe the algorithmic gods have just decided not to reveal this to me, or maybe I've overestimated how willing the morons who pay to see these films would be to fork over thirty dollar.
Fucking autist. This is clearly a re-imagining of the animated Mulan adaptation.
excellent rebuttal
It's pretty impressive actually. The Chinese are known for having worse taste than the Japanese and even they don't want this shit show
Hopefully. Fuck the Mouse.
It sucks. What more do you want?
Yeah, these are the same people that loved Michael Bay’s transformers
Which is an adaptation of a piece of popular Chinese folklore that's been retold thousands of times before.
Who gives a shit, I've argued the live action capeshit shouldn't be in Zig Forums either. If Harry Potter film threads aren't allowed in /lit/, comic book live action adaptations shouldn't be allowed in Zig Forums, and the refusal to moderate this accordingly has been one of the Three Great Plagues on this board, alongside bait threads and Zig Forumsitical discussion.
>parents love it because their shitty kids will be quiet for an hour and a half watching it so they can finally find the time to smoke some weed
nah, it's Disney trying to do the poem a second time, they changed things to line up with the poem more but still managed to mix up elements from different regions of china and time periods.
>an actual big flop
only time will tell if it's the biggest bomb of all time, but it's certainly shaping up that way.
Crossing my fingers this Karma flops also gets the upcoming MCU flims
