Pretty sure that a joke, but there plans for an American Dad and Family Guy crossover but it never happened because the writers couldn't think of a suitable plot.

I do remember hearing that the Family Guy and Simpsons crossover actually got lower ratings than normal Simpsons episodes usually get so I could see why The Simpsons staff wouldn't want to crossover again. Family Guy shit on Cleveland for low ratings but never said anything about that.

I put a new episode of simpsons on recently and I don't know how marge's voice actor is still doing it. I probably answered my own question in my mind by saying "100,000$ an episode" in my mind but her voice is so blown the fuck out it's a wonder she hasn't keeled over
