I read the filename as "Smug Lube" at first.

Rubypill me
Whats the appeal? The first episode seemed really boring.

>cool monsters
>giant transforming gun weapons
>cool powers
>ladies with big guns
>cracked moon
>Ironchad
>Roman and Neo
>Zwei

When everyone will be talking about Trump winning the election
Sad for you

It initially had the awkward appeal of an indy project no one expected to get off the ground, as well as a somewhat catchy soundtrack and the fun, flashy martial arts choreography of the late Monty Oum.

It got simultaneously less awkward, but more cringey somehow, and increasingly obsessed with liberal propaganda to the point that people suspect story changes were made to accommodate that agenda.

It was never what I would describe as “good,” but the first three volumes are watchable if you’re drunk.

>and increasingly obsessed with liberal propaganda to the point that people suspect story changes were made to accommodate that agenda.
Shut the fuck up. Of all the RWBY criticisms you could've gone with, you seriously chose this one? Aside from the faunus subplot (which was cut short for that very reason), there's no agenda preaching in the show.

1. Cute anime girls fight monsters and each other
2. It's fun to watch an amateur project struggle and achieve worldwide popularity
3. KINO soundtrack
4. This is the story of the four girls growing up in the chaotic world far bigger than them, and it's interesting to see how the writers approach it and gradually bring more complex themes into the story (V4 and 5 were shit, but 6-7 have been pretty good in this regard)

Ruby's futa cock!

I got the impression that a lot of people roll their eyes at what’s perceived to be gay pandering, but I guess that was also incompetently handled.

>RWBY
>Complex Themes
ADAM that is all.

V4 was my favorite. I think this is because it focused on the secondary characters more, who have a lot of issues, but are better handled than the main ones. 6 was the worst, and by the time 7 came along I lost interest entirely.

>gay people exist = agenda preaching

no

Look Adamfag, I know you're sad that your husbando didn't turn out to be Magneto but rather an incel, and I agree more could've been done with him. But he still played an important arc in both Yang and Blake's character arcs, even if recontextualized. Besides, it's not like Adam is the only character to exist in the show.

>characters are hamfistedly shoved together to pander to a specific audience = agenda preaching

an important part*

fuck no, rooster teeth pledged to be even more woke.

penny is still adorable and best girl.

What happened to Monty’s character designs? Nothing pops anymore.
The outfit changes have all sucked for a while.

Even characters who don’t get much changes in the costume department are less appealing to look at. V4 and beyond Emerald looks dull and much less vibrant.

Yang and Blake have been gradually getting closer since V1.

>The outfit changes have all sucked for a while.
The only bad outfits are the WBY V7 ones.

Baby duck syndrome?

he died?

Yes.

They went through some ups and very intense downs, and should have been considerably more awkward terms when they reunited. Sun was being built up as a love interest for Blake, and even if the feelings weren’t that substantial, there was a clear mutual attraction, moreso than with Yang, and they were also inarguably built up moreso.
Then once Yang re-enters the picture they shove in a weird convo with Neptune about how Sun “never really wanted to get together with Blake that way” or something, despite all the moment, which feels phenomenally disingenuous, and he promptly leaves.

I’m not invested in any of the shipping in this show, but it’s fairly obvious when they go off the preestablished rails.

>The only bad outfits are the WBY V7 ones
wat
The original costumes had so much more color and character

I remember thinking Ren’s V4 redesign was pretty good, but can’t think of any others.

>That ass and look back
I don't even watch RWBY, but that image did something to me.

I can’t bring myself to care about the show anymore, but Emerald was always a babe. I remember she also had a very attractive voice. I think her VA’s an amateur, much like the VAs for the main girls, but she’s way better.

This is her after the first big revamp. I sorely miss how much brighter she used to look.

The fans still make sun x blake porn though?

Im glad this show doesnt exist.
