As someone who made model replacements for tf2, I know that 3d isn't a walk in the park either (it's more expensive to hire artists and don't even get started on the rendering costs) but they don't do the same amount of little "touches" anymore, if that makes any sense.

I can understand it. Even if the details are the same, the 2D ones took many more hours to include. 3D might as well have a "instant Disney magic" button. I hate to use buzzwords, but it's soulless.

Not to mention 3d movies have a TERRIBLE ratio for cost and usage compared to vidya. At most you'd see the same model used for about a movie length's worth of time and promos, but with video games you get WAY more usage out of one model alone.

I wrote a parody of the song "Where you are" from the movie Moana. I don't want to spoil any of it because it turned out really good, it's just the first minute or so of the song up until just before the the "Consider the cocoanut" part of the song. The parody changes the word Moana to Cohana and I guess just something that reflects this. A mix of Moana and Lilo and Stitch. I don't have anything particular in mind but if you already have a banner planned then the parody doesn't have to be the thread opener.
