Sentai superheroes are some of the most mediocre shitty heroes when it comes to saving the day. They are often worthless without their gear, cannot do much on their own, and take their sweet ass time whenever they have to save whatever city they are in. Not to mention they routinely ruin most of the city itself in the process of stopping whatever giant monster they are up against. Every episode of their show is like the third act of Man of Steel.

In one of Ultraman Orb's early episodes, Gai destroyed many buildings for defeating the MoTW and at the end of the episode, he was impressed of how quickly the nips were rebuilding the damaged buildings. Reminder that Gai wasn't a nip, he was an alien. I guess that make canon that sentai and Ultraman destroyed the city in every battle but like Japanese people are extremely disciplined, they rebuilt it for the next week

Yeah, Mebius makes a big deal very early on about how Ultraman is meant to protect humanity and not let model cities get trashed to shit just because you were fighting a monster. Gogo V and the very small pool of other rescue based hero shows have a big emphasis on helping people during emergencies rather than just fighting the monster of the week.

As usual they still failed to defeat them because they accidentally posted on the wrong board

sentai has this weird problem that every ten years they decide to aim at an even ypunger audience. first it was for the family, then it was for kids, now its for toddlers. won't be shocked if next they'll be aiming at newborns for some godawful reason..

Maybe in the next ten years it'll be aimed at babies still in the womb

Because the older audience gets more jaded and grumpy at the new shows then buy the expensive collector's market edition of the merchandise of their favorite show. Win-win

And Kamen Rider is weird about it too. Ghost is kiddy despite being about the supernatural undead, but Ex-Aid despite the more kid friendly suit styles, is messed up, not even mentioning the main villain being a living memelord
