If Star showed up she would probably confuse the gems as threats, destroy them all with magic, destroy steven, and then just chill in beach city. Maybe like fall in love with a cute boy, but considering how weird and offputting everyone in beach city is she would probably move.

Inversely, if steven showed up in echo creek he would have been bullied. Being an annoying hyperactive kid he would have been made fun of and if they saw his gem they'd bully him even more. He might discover he had some power but nobody cares. He then shoots up a school, but not with a gun. He turns into that fucking stupid dinosaur thing and stomps on everyone and cries. Because his spit or tears or whatever heal he would bring them all back to life. They would thank him and then just bully him again. Because steven has no character development he would get bullied, kill people,
and revive people for like 5 seasons and then just leave. Probably to find a new city where people can bully him. Endless cycle of bullying for steven. Somehow steven shows up in the same town that Star moved to, and she fucking blasts him. The end
