well, I disagree. So your choices are you make the thread or someone else makes it.

It Hurts! by Gobolatula was the one that made me think "hey i might be able to do this!". The plot driven humor was right up my alley and the simple, but evolving art style made me feel a bit more confident in my total lack of ability. That and he hung out on Zig Forums a bit and was a pretty cool dude.
I figured if he could do it, I could.

Brawl in the Family was another big inspiration too.
