At the risk of sounding like a bit over reactionary, I found it interesting and nice compared to some of the other Alternate Universe but as mentioned by earlier user it dips its toes into tumblr bs a bit too often for my taste.
It lost traction for me when White Diamond Steven comes out as pansexual in response to a question about his sexuality. It struck me as adding nothing to the story other than the writer wanting to thrust their personal input where it was unneeded. I still check up on it tho.

I agree, I'd be fine with Steven wanting to fuck whatever (he still thinks he's a Gem, anyway and gems don't really have genitals) but there was a bit too much focus on it for a person who has more important things than his sexuality right now

Its certainly allowed, but if it doesn't add anything to the story other than (this is how i feel so now this is how the character feels) its pointless and thus detracts from the overall appeal rather than add to it.

It's the 'Fanfic that's somehow a better story then what the actual creator wrote' of Steven Universe, being SU that's not really a hard feat but that doesn't diminish the quality of the comic. I suggest you go read it on tapas and enjoy it. This author mostly does her own little story that isn't "what if white was Pink???" and instead makes their own story for it. Also suggest looking into the Blue Steven AU too
