>originally written to be classmates, not cousins
is that why their relationship dynamic is so weird?
Originally written to be classmates, not cousins
>Ben 10
What a dick monkey
gwen isnt even hot.
We will never have peace from Green Lantern fags in these threads. I feel like I truly understand sneed.
How does it feel knowing that a ten year old is leagues smarter than you?
Anyone with a higher I.Q then me gets smooshed.
Everytime I see you, I laugh. I love this meme

kys
That scene had so much sexual tension, it was insane.
"a" guacamole?
Maybe it's just the opposite of sour grapes but it's a pretty good romance for a kids' show and I'm annoyed it wasn't carried forward in the sequel series.
There's another thread that seems to be entirely GL free, though it was mostly an excuse to lewd post about Gwen's ass from the second and third shows.
Seems normal to me.
>that time Ben thought Gwen was dead and she showed up alive
Cartoon "writers" are literally so lazy that they buy and pass around pre-built scripts. That's why even shows like Gravity Falls have "high school prom" episodes. Those are just generic episodes that they force into whatever show they didn't have time to write for that week. Male and female protagonists? Most of the time there is supposed to be romantic tension, so they picked up a bunch of lazy scripts that were written with that in mind and then weren't attentive enough to fix them for the actual format of the show.
You'd think they could at least not draw them making googly eyes at each other if they actually didn't want to signal romance.
It'd be just as weird for unrelated classmates of opposite genders to go on a roadtrip, which is presumably why they changed it. They should have just gone with it, and have them explicitly be boyfriend/girlfriend with an uncle there to make sure things didn't get too crazy. Age them up a couple years if necessary.
Poor little Bencel
>It'd be just as weird for unrelated classmates of opposite genders to go on a roadtrip
Not necessarily. If they were friends at least, or their parents were chummy, that would be understandable enough. Now if it had been something really contrived like "Gwen's family is stuck at home, and she's got nobody to go on vacation with", that would have been pretty stupid.
Not even the best green lantern faggot KYS
Gwen's dad could be Max's godson or something.
Stop posting this hack.
Should've just made Gwen his step cousin
That too, but then that kind of falls into the "parents are chummy" that was mentioned. Either way, it's not exactly uncommon for kids to go on vacation together, just that most times it's because both families are hanging out rather than one saddling the other with their kid.
It would still be weird if the show had them interacting explicitly. Though as far as I recall, it was only a handful of episodes that really made it questionable, while the bulk of the series just had them act like a brother and sister.
She's a babe.
did he blush
Only when he thought about her bush.
STOP IT HAL HES ALREADY DEAD
BASED
If you write a show with characters actually bonding and growing then you're going to get something of quality.
BTAS vs The Batman.
Teen Titans vs Young Justice.
AtlA vs Korra.
Ben 10 vs every other version.
The idea of emotion just gets stripped away and all you are left with is gags and action.
The Batman was better than BTAS though
No, not really. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it rarely reached the same consistent heights of BTAS.
