No, that's traced. He just made minor edits so it didn't seem as traced. Look at the placement and shape of the clasps for instance. You can't get that close naturally.

His biggest problem is his use of color, more specifically the bright yellow backgrounds and highlights he puts in all his colored drawings. If you take away the eye bleeding color scheme he always uses then it actually doesn't look too bad
