I remember I was interested in the black dude's car as a kid, because from what I recall the car had extending wings so it could fly, which of course to a kid was a really cool feature.
But the first episode I caught was an episode of him fighting PTSD while driving (at least that's how my memory pieces it together). But I had never heard of anything like that as a kid, so it just seemed like a weird weakness for a superhero where he couldn't concentrate or some shit.

Sports series either need a dedicated rival or an interesting supporting cast. They need decent character progression. They ideally need decent drama. They ideally need to run for a while so you can fucking feel invested. IGPX had literally none of this and felt like trying to make a series out of fucking Pokemon championship episodes.
I loved the premise but IGPX was fucking all the wasted potential.
