I'm right here, pretty flattered someone made a thread even though I don't got much to show currently.
Things that were done recently:
-Preytara's animatic was finished which can be viewed here: dailymotion.com
-Big Mama got into the DAIKAIJU DAIKESSEN VERSUS game and currently playable
-Pestania's VA was picked
-A few more character concepts done and animation conversions coming
-More mini-comics getting made, new artists coming in to take them on in order to put them out faster but also get more visual flair
-Junior is going to get his colors changed due to the advice from the thread before (thank you all for that BTW)
-Letting other writer friends come in and help write minis
-Planning next animatic to have characters interacting rather than just one talking

Gotta get my background artist friend to work on some of the locations soon too. Some people think all of it only takes place on Monster Island but there's other locations such as cities (obviously), inner earth and space.
Sadly not currently. I've been picking from the nest of writer friends I've already got but I'm very welcome to advice. My comedic writing is very stale so letting my friends come onboard to help out has actually helped improve it more. At least I hope it has, won't know till everyone starts getting the new mini comics.
Another animator did approach me wanting to work with us but I didn't have any tasks prepared at the time. I let him come on as an artist for a mini to at least give him some paid work to do till then.

Oh yeah that was another user posing as me who did the 'I'm quitting' talk. That first thread got kinda weird pretty quick.

Exatron's concept design
He's a decapitated mecha head that functions as the family's TV via hologram projections (you can see example of it here ). Big Mama ripped off his head years ago and he's eternally pissed at what he's been reduced to. Will commonly take any opportunity to insult the family or any other kaiju present in the living room. Easily intimidated into silence when he gets to be too much.
When his design goes animated we may make his eye more expressive to help show emotion. I personally think it would be funnier if he's just expressionless and the VA carries all the anger from dialogue. What do the rest of you think?

Next couple of weeks, there's some new minis that will be completed soon. Here's a look at one which is being colored right now.

I got one or two new drawn ones now. Exatron above in and I can post Shockrilla in a sec. We've got a good amount of main and side cast drawn so soon we'll be moving to the human characters.
The Kaiju Family is also going to appear in one of Cougar Macdowell's Kaiju Dubs vids on youtube in a month. Couldn't get the VAs to reprise their roles for an appearance due to scheduling so Big Mama, Junior and Pestania are going to sound different in it.

Cause why not? Plenty of creators stop by here whether they admit it or not. James Stokoe once came on here when people were talking about Orc Stain and shared work that wasn't even public yet. If this winds up biting me in the ass then oh well, if I'm being honest I'm more just doing this with my team cause I want to. If I get picked up, okay but if I don't then oh well nothing to cry about.
I'm just enjoying the ride of making this a reality.

That's apart of the organization KIRU (Kaiju International Response Union). They're the ones who commonly respond to Kaiju attacks across the globe with plenty of soldiers, tanks, missiles and giant piloted robots of their own called Pinnacles. Several Hero Kaiju (such as Hypernova here) work with them in responding to attacks when they can. Humans in the setting have been experiencing attacks for decades so it makes sense by the modern day time they'd have learned with several ways to counter.
For reference you can think of them as the Tribunal from Metalocalpyse in their vibe. Any time a Kaiju go somewhere, even if it's just to relax they'll think it's some type of prelude to an attack they have to prepare for.
