FoX-Men confirmed for the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse
Didn't they say Ryan Reynolds was still going to be Deadpool right after the purchase was announced?
They'll get a cameo in Multiverse of Madness and that'll be it.
Good. Fox ruined the great potential of X-Men on film.
Yes, Patrick Stewart is 80 yo, if they want to do Xavier he will not reprise
>implying that Disney can do better
Dilate.
YES
Actually if you read the interview he said no because he thought Logan capped the character off perfectly.
>talks
>confirmed
Remember when Snipes got out of prison and for a month or two there were these really strong rumors that Blade was going to be in the MCU, and then it turned out to not be true?
Besides, with the best will in the world Patrick Stewart isn't going anywhere near a big movie set in plague-ridden America for a long, long time, and he ain't got that long left.
>January 2020.
Nice bait retard.
Stewart is too old to play Professor X.
I think Snipes wanted the gig and said he was in talks with Disney, but I bet that his antics on the set of Blade 3 acted against him there.
>Professor Xavier, lifelong champion of mutant rights
>seizures his founding X-Men to death and disgraces his school
>gets stabbed to death as an Alzheimer's patient by an evil clone with no personality
>buried in a nameless grave by some lake
Definitely fits the humiliation fetish Stewart's discovered in his emeritus years.
Is Patrick Stewart in some kind of horrible debt or something to have to keep working his most iconic roles to death?
Without FoX-Men there'd be no MCU, faggot.
With Jackman and Stewart retired, their only hope for kino is securing McAvoy and Fassbender for one last ride.
>At his absolute lowest, still believed in the cause.
>Never gave up on helping people.
>Taught his most cynical and troubled student that his life still mattered, no matter how much or how little of it he had left.
>His lessons inspire Wolverine to finish the mission after his death, and ensures the safety and freedom of a new generation of mutants.
>Even though he and Logan are dead, they and their old teammates will be remembered by the next generation. The presence of the comic books imply that a lot of people already regard them as heroes.
Yeah, Charles didn't go out in a blaze of glory, but he was still a hero.
I hate that nostalgia pandering works so well. All they have to do is bring back actors from "lesser" franchises and they get praised as geniuses who care about the fans.
BASED
THE FOX-MEN WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED. THE LONGEST STANDING SUPERHERO FRANCHISE WHO SURVIVED A DEAD END, 2 SOFT REBOOTS, MULTIPLE ABANDONED AND CONTRADICTING SPINOFFS AND NOW THEY EVEN SURVIVED THE MERGER OF COMPANIES AND THEY JUST STUMPED ANY DREAM OF NEGROS MAGNETOS-XAVIER FOREVER
LITERALLY UNDEFEATED, IMMORTAL, IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL. LONG LIVE THE FOX-MEN, A TOAST FOR ANOTHER 100 YEARS OF CAPE KINO
IN YOUR GOD DAMN TRANNY FACE Zig Forums
>near a big movie set in plague-ridden America for a long
Never watch a mcu backstage. lmao. They are small as fuck green rooms. You can assemble taht shit anywhere in the world in 2 days.
>Patrick Stewart
I was watching Picard recently and he's fucking OLD. VERY old. Too old to reasonably play Prof X in my opinion, unless they intend to kill him off after his first appearance.
honestly, im not suprised snipes did what he did.
but has anyone heard any other stories of snipes being an ass on set that isnt from people on the set of blade 3?
I was going to ask who would win in a fight if the fox men or the mcu but then I remembered Xavier is fucking broken and could easily mind rape everyone in the mcu since they dont seem to have any defense for that shit. Maybe Strange could defend from a telepathic attack. Maybe.
Phoenix also roasted Apocalypse who had max out defense. He was tanking at the same time Ultimatum Magneto and Xavier brain rape without any issue.
1, 2 and DoFP were kino
the rest was trash and both DP films were a mistake
Good taste. I would add Legion S1 and the first half of Logan. Never found FC interesting and I think most people around here liked it because "oh yellow and blue suits just like my comic books" when its really a bad movie.
I have a soft spot for the tv series like campiness of Apocalypse but I admit is a bad movie.
>FoX-Men
kek
A flash-forward cameo could work. Basically bring Sir Patrick out for a scene, have him fondly remembering the early days of the X-men or something. I don't think it's necessary at all though.
Kitty solo movie when?
You mean Mystique's sidekicks?
Yuck.
In other words only Dark Phoenix and XMFC:Wolv were the only two unenjoyable Fox X-Men movies.
People only disliked Last Stand because X-Men 2 was at the time probably the best Marvel movie.
Through DoFP everyone thought the franchise was good overall.
Then Disney started wanting to buy Fox, so magically a bad reputation was whipped up out of thin air. Despite movies like Deadpool, Deadpool 2 and Logan happening at the same time, still somehow Fox was doing a "terrible" job.
>Oh but Apocalypse and DP and--
DP didn't happen till the very END, last year, so that has nothing to do with the half-decade of fake negativity about the franchise.
Apocalypse was weak. ONE subpar movie within a 7-year span between 2012 and 2019 (before DP) and yet somehow from 2014 onwards we had to hear about how terrible Fox was doing.
Weird how Marvel could make stinkers like Inc Hulk, IM2, IM3, Thor 2, Avengers AoU, and yet there was nothing but love for the MCU during those years.
