How is this a “satire” when it unironically believes and does the things it’s satirising?
>franchises are bad! Big companies evil!
>needlessly prolongs itself with filler and spin offs to The Boys franchise on Amazon Prime
>These girl power moments are so hackneyed and lame right? Girls get it done! LOL
>literally has the girls team up to beat the bad guy a few episodes later while the guys stand around and cheer them on
>diversity casting for ticking boxes is stupid
>casts a female jew as a white male Nazi, gender swaps dozens of characters
Would you bro’s honestly look after your wife’s son who cheated on you with a superhero? What a fucking depressing, cucked life.
It hurt your chalky pride to see yourself and your white-spread panic represented by Stormfront and Fat Neil
>white-spread panic represented by a Jew
???
they should really include a trigger warning for the snowflakes
Easy, it was adapted too late.
>How is this a “satire” when it unironically believes and does the things it’s satirising?
It's a celebration
At least Injustice let me play ad Doctor fate and the Ninja Turtles. Homelander's Actor is fucking carrying this show for me and I don't think it can last.
imagine being this mad at seeing a nazi get beat the fuck down
This is the mindset of the writers so I’m not surprised
Wow. And people said this was "better than the comic". Where's that pic from btw?
One of the first episodes of season 2 on Amazon prime. You can read scene specific trivia if you bring up the UI during it
Here’s another one,
I notice that too, a lot of the complaints didn't start until they showed Stormfront using real world right wing propaganda points in a negative light
>What went wrong here?
Nothing. The show and comic are both trash. Read the better version of the idea.
So we’re supposed to believe Homelander RAPED her for three hours and she doesn’t have a scratch or bruise on her? And that she then didn’t tell anyone except vought?
yfw it was just a really intense game of Twister
show makes fun of liberals
>haha so silly aren't these ideas so crazy!
show makes fun of conservatives
>look at these fucking monsters
>this is real
>this actually happens
>the alt-right is a threat to all of us
It’s amazing the things people will do when you threaten them with your laser eyes, huh?
Just like reality
The show makes fun of Liberals??? (Haven't watched it)
I liked the part where starlight murdered a man for his car, then said he deserved it for defending himself with a gun. Then it’s never mentioned again
In the most milquetoast light handed way possible, and then they go on to say it’s actually a good thing
>show makes fun of hackneyed girl power moments
>has hackneyed girl power moments unironically
>makes fun of diversity casting
>has diversity casting anyway
Mainly poking fun at them using girl power and homosexuality as a marketing ploy, but its done in such a tongue and cheek way vs showing a literal neckbeard browsing Zig Forums who gets indoctrinated by memes into murdering a brown person.
I thought for sure they were going to have her deal with the guilt of that, since they show the guy had a baby carseat in his car. So she just murdered the father of a newborn baby.
But nah fuck that white male he defended himself against a known terrorist named Billy "The Butcher" and an actual superhero who cant be hurt by bullets.
I mean what the actual fuck was that scene?
Would Jimmy Olsen do it?
Hey, he said this is a stand your ground state so he must be an evil republican, and didn’t hand over his property like a good white boy. So he deserved to die.
That’s the logic of the writers
But Travis was a fucking broke ass Taxi Driver. He was far from privileged.
He was a white male. Look up intersectionality chud.
1. It takes the source material and throws it in the garbage.
2. Very little of consequence happened so it ended up turning into Padding: The Series
>Read the better version of the idea.
You mean Marshall Law, right?
>It takes the source material and throws it in the garbage.
The comic was just Ennis explaining why he doesn't like superhero comics, you can't translate that to a TV show or a movie.
So why did Homelander lie about it to Butcher?
We never see Homelander Rape or even coerce anyone else for sex so it’s just weirdly out of character for him in the show
