Don't know where to buy? Try these: amazon.com/ (known to manhandle books with bad packaging) instocktrades.com/ (worldwide shipping, often has sales) mycomicshop.com (worldwide shipping) cheapgraphicnovels.com/ ebay.com/ alibris.com/ (Amazon alternative, it doesn't have the usual fees, it ships worldwide and accepts PayPal) [your local comic shop here]
the haul is from an actual comic shop a few towns over by the way and not from amazon or anything. almost 300€, owner was very happy (also super nice guy)
Hey anons how is it going? A shit ton of new stuff this month. I still have a bunch of other stuff in the mail and at the end of the month is my birthday so I'll probably get a couple of extra free comics. The Archie and Jughead stuff is a present for my sister so those won't be in my shelf for long, I'll probably check them out before they go.
I'm having a blast reading Witchblade, some great stuff in this first volume. I'll probably start with Stary Bullets next.
In the mail: >Pulp >Judge Dredd Complete Case Files 12 and 13 >Lady Killer >Spirou & Fantasio Vol.1 (the spanish "integral" edition, collects Franquin's stuff from 1946 to 1950) >Djinn Vol.1 (Also an spanish "integral", I think it collects the first 4 albums?) >Cochlea & Eustachia >Dogs of the Bronx (thanks to that user that recommended me "The Puerto Rican War" a couple of months ago. I really like Mejias work and hadn't even heard of him before that) >Conan the Barbarian Omnibus 4
What are those editions of Asterix? Look great but I can't find them online anywhere. Are they in french or is it a translation?
Not much new on these shelves, still working on those Conan omnis. I did just finish my Tales of the TMNT collection finally, and picked up a pretty worn copy of Eastman & Laird’s Secret of the Ooze film version comic which I really like. No pictures of those yet though.
Do you not like IDW TMNT? You have the other series in trades, but not that one. Unless the trades next to the Mirage Ultimate Collections is it but I've never seen those before.
Easton Diaz
Not buying a lot lately but some of these are just precious things. One look at this Madame Xanadu cover should make any red-blooded heterosexual man fall in love.
>Unless the trades next to the Mirage Ultimate Collections Those are the HC IDW collection versions, the spines are very unattractive but the covers are beautiful.
Jordan Smith
Those bottom right hardcovers are the IDW TMNT series with the tie ins included. Absolute best way to read the series, since most of the side stories are way, way more essential than their status as mini series and side things would indicate.
Alexander Scott
those Asterix books are the German translations, they are some old edition from the 80s. Got them from a friend of the family which recently died. stops at "Song of Asterix" I believe, which is incidentally the last Asterix I enjoyed. Problem with the German version, in my opinion, is that the first 15 or so tomes were released in a different order than the French (and probably the English) versions and the German publishers stuck with that order ever since. The last Tome is a biography of Uderzo and his works.
>Diamond is Unbreakable won't be finished until 2021 >Vento Aureo will take another two years >Stone Ocean likewise Man that's a lotta JoJo. I'd need a new shelf just for all of JoJo eventually.
Shit I really want something like this in spanish or english... I don't think there is a good edition with extras of Asterix, the ones I have are the individual albums without anything else in them. Just the stories
>A Paul Auster comic? Yup, its an adaptation of City of Glass. Pretty good stuff, had a lot of fun reading it
>how to get into Slaine Can't help you there. I've only read "Slaine the Wanderer" which was pretty meh. I've bought a couple of other trades to check out but I haven't read them yet
