>durr other comics are shit too so this one isn't shit I own and have read more comics than you, shit-for-brains.

Yeah, not every Snyder comic is bad simply for its association with Snyder. Black Mirror, Secret City and Dark City were all good/ok depending on your tastes. It's not until Death of the Family where he starts getting bad.

I mean chronologically. Weird as it sounds, Snyder's writing gets worse as he goes along the timeline. If you hate how he treats the characters in DOTF/Endgame then there's no worse comic than his work on Metal.
>then there's no worse comic than his work on Metal. I still have yet to read it. It looked neat but the reading order and various specials put me off.
I know they are not meant to be, but I consider Zero Year and Year One titles as occurring semi-simultaneously with one another. The dates are perfect, but it's still my headcanon.
Completely forgot about this aspect of the Zero Year idea. Man, a lot of Joker from the past decade comes back to this idea, doesn't it? Of retroactively writing him like he's been this mastermind of sprawling plans all along.

I haven't read any Batman comics since King's run ended. How are Tynion's issues compared to what came before? One of my friends swears that they are better than anything churned out in basically the last decade and I can't gauge whether she's being serious or not.
