ITT: How would both the Boys and the Seven fare in the Marvel and DC universes?
>Any sort of mindreader finds out about Homelander
Idk
Poorly. Vaught is just budget Roxxon/Oscorp/CADMUS/Lex Corp/AIM, etc. and The Boys just less efficient Punisher. In Marvel it'd just play out like Reign/Dark Avengers 2.0 and DC it'd be Crisis On Two Earths 2.0. "Evil hero team"'s been done
Easy
>Vought would get sued to hell and back
>Homelander would get branded as a supervillain.
>The rest of the Seven would get called out for the egotistical hacks they are. Although characters like starlight might be spared the criticism because of her sinscereness
>The Boys would basically be more or less the same. And might even go easy on characters like Spiderman or Captain America since they actually do want to be good people. Won't stop billy butcher from calling them cunts though.
Even if they're able to
Dumbass me.
So what I meant to say was
Even if Vought is able to avoid getting exposed, sooner or later characters like batman or Spiderman can come in, dig up their dirt and expose them.
Stormfront would be Hydra, either fucking Red Skull if it's the tv version, or feuding with him if it's the comic book one.
But overall, neither the Boys or the Seven really present that much of a challenge to either the DC or Marvel superhero communities.
Starlight would join the JSA, where she'd have wholesome adventures.
For DC The Seven would already be deduced by the JL in an instance since they handle this sort of stuff. The Boys would lay low to dig up any dirt on them until they realised there's none. In Marvel depending on the Avengers roster, they would be figured out still. The Boys on the other would lay low again, but Marvel has versatile street level heroes and would get their shit kicked in. Besides if any one of them manages to kill one superhero there would be a bloody manhunt. They can easily cross over to their world and shut Vought down for good.
Bump
It's called Superman vs. The Elite, and like that story the boys will get shit on.
Technically The Boys WAS part of DC.
Girls get it on
>white man bad
>Maeve
She'd probably be the coach for the West Coast Avengers (Marvel) while being a predatory bislut to Kate. In DC she'd try to join the JSA but Wonder Woman would be better than her in powers but she'd the more down to earth version. She goes to lez out in Themscryia but her alcoholism has got her caught and rubbing box with Kate Kane Batwoman & Renee Montoya on/off.
>A-Train
Avengers since they don't have a Speedster plus it'll help Falcon from being the token black guy when T'challa isn't around. DC wise he'd be friends with Black Wally/ex-Titan if they port his Teenage Kix background.
>Deep
Completely fucked over by Namor, at worst killed because he's a fake atlantean in their eyes or just seen as a joke. Maybe joins the Great Lakes Avengers on probation. Aquaman would probably treat him the same but might see potential in him since he genuinely cares about marine life.
>Black Noir
Its still out on the TV version but comic Noir would be a Jackal/Oscorp Clone of Hyperion for the Dark Avengers or SHIELD. DC would have him be a Cadmus test tube baby but instead of Luthor they added Bruce Wayne's DNA to Supes to get SupeKek.
>Translucent
His indestructiblity isn't that impressive in Marvel but I could see him being a SHIELD operative with his sneaking talents. Fury Jr. hates him and sends him in suicide missions but he always manages to sneak his way back. He's honestly tge one that would be a villian for hire, probably a Lexcorp goon more than a hero.
>Starlight
Young and/or West Coast Avengers with a Champions tie-in if she's still in her mid 20s. Pre-Blowjob she'd be the cheery older sister. Post-Blowjob, she's more likely to join Nextwave and Shield/Sword to keep tabs on them, especially Carol since she's been getting close to being FemHomelander lately.
>Homelander
With his backstory I can see him as a
SHIELD test tube baby of Hyperion with a dash of the Sentry's serum which was later stolen/copied for Black Noir. DC he's just another Cadmus Supe.
Everyone saying that the seven would get stomp on but if they were originally from those universes, they would change too.
For example, they would act more carefully. Part of the reason they are so stupidly arrogant is because they don't have to face any actual threats.
The plane scene would play a lot different in a world where Superman also exists. Homelander and Maeve were very calm about the situation because there's no way they would get caught in a world were most people with superpowers are on their side. However, if Superman or Aquaman also exist there, they would get incredibely paranoic. Hell, they may even confess themselves so they can save their asses a little.
I think vought/the seven would be a lot different in the dc universe. They would probably stay away from real shit and focus on movies and merchandise.
Given Ennis' history with Superman, I suspect Butcher would have a moment of coming to terms that not all supes are bad. Just Superman, though.
I'll like to think that Homelander would also be less of a psycho. He acts how he acts because he thinks (and he's right lol) that no one can oppose him. Like, he's doing the world a favor everyday that he decides not going apeshit and conquering the world.
If Superman is in there, I think Homelander would idolize him and maybe try to be more like him but only if Supes is older and/or much more powerful than him
>I suspect Butcher would have a moment of coming to terms that not all supes are bad. Just Superman, though.
Like that guy from the academia hero anime? I can see it. Butcher hating every single "hero" except Superman.
I'd rather see them go up against the Authority, see who's the bigger bunch of assholes
>but only if Supes is older and/or much more powerful than him
Superman is like ten times stronger than homelander, the power levels in the boys are generally pretty low
The only question that needs to be answered is how many amazon prime subscriptions it would sell, the rest is entirely irrelevant
In DC, probably just Superman, and maybe Tommy Monaghan if the Boys are around during the 90's era DC
In Marvel, maybe Spider-Man
I'd like to see a sort of rivalry between Deep and Little Mermaid over simple marine things
>Superman is like ten times stronger than homelander
Only ten? The difference in their strenght is as big as the gap between a human and an ant.
But you know how it is with crossovers. Powerlevels get all retarded.
This is a good point, I think it's more interesting to modify them based on the universe rather than doing a simple Vs Fight, because both comic and show versions of The Boys and The Seven would get easily trounced on as-is.
Like if they were in the Marvel Universe, would Compound V be a newer version of Kick and Mutant Growth Hormone? Would the Wildstorm Universe version of The Seven be a team made by the US government to have a response to The Authority?
But why did they abandon the plane if Homelander could have just flew under it and gently guided it to landing?
Did you even watch the scene?
His flying doesn't work like that
I think marvel humans would see compound v as a way to even the odds against 'the mutant menace'.
Unlike Superman, Homelander doesn’t have tactile telekinesis
This Also, what Maeve asked Homelander to do was kind of something that he actually tried to in the comics.
Show Homelander is actually smarter lol
If Batman were to face Billy Butcher from the comics, how would he try to persuade Billy to stop fighting if he knew about Butcher's past and history? What do you think he would say to Billy?
They are both white
