"We'Re iN a FoOKin PanDemIC ReTarD"
Fuck right off. This series was in development for at least THREE YEARS, and I know for a fact that there are completed shorts not released to the public yet.

You do realize that several people in the world died from the virus right?
A good third of them in America, even.
Hes probably american
I think they've decided to do them annually instead to milk it as long as they can, which is bullshit. Just another instance of WB fucking over their crews. When you produce one 'season' of content but spread its release out over multiple years the only purpose is to avoid paying for people to get raises over time. Sleazy as hell.
Yeah but literally what does that have to do with choosing not to release shorts that were already finished?
They did this on another WB show too, my friend was directing in season 1 but told that she wouldn't credit her as a director till they officially started production on season 2. Then later she found out that all the episodes she'd been directing on were classified as season 2. Ultimately the show barely got released in the US anyway but still, fuck WB.
Was it Bunnicula?
not the one I was thinking of but actually yeah that's another example
I could be wrong but I think that to keep a streaming service running you need employees
Yet somehow Netflix and even HBO Max have managed to release new shit for the past several months despite working from home.
I think the show wrapped up this year too, most of the staff moved on to other projects and one of the staff mentioned that they finished their last batch of shorts around may.
Wait isn't Looney Tunes on HBO max?
Yes
You've got to be kidding me if this is true
doesnt this violate union rules
When have Hollywood studios ever given an actual shit about unions
Not a big loss for animation.
Seems like such an odd move on their part.
the series premiered on teletoon in Canada this weekend

nah, I think WB simply got cold feet due to the cenorship of guns in that series and as a result they simply decided to cancel it.
they knew the series just wouldn't work well without guns in them.
I bet you would NEVER say such a thing if WB suddenly decided to cancel Scooby-Doo for all time.
And the Twitter vultures will blame their internet boogeymen like Quartering and Clownfish for the show ending because they complained about no guns.
The whole pandemic thing is being used as an excuse to be lazy and incompetent.
4 million die from swine flu
No one says anything
200k die from China virus
Control everyone's lives and create an economic depression
They could make so much off of nostalgia if they did it right (sans SJWs).
The Swine Flu affected just about everybody in a small percentage, the Novel Coronavirus threatens - GASP - The Baby Boomers.
And hospital capacity.
When's the next episode going to be released?
>AHYUCK AHYUCK 98.8% SURVIVAL RATE GAAAAIISSSS AJYUCK
>DONT CALL IT THE CHINESE FLU GAIS
>TRUST THE CDC AND THE WHO
You've got your straw men mixed together, user
