What's the consensus on the three seasons of Infinity Train? If you had to rate them in order to quality or preference, how would you do it? I've only watched the first one and I liked it fine; it was nothing too special.

I crave for more.

I'd rank them 3

2>1>3

3>2>1
I think the basic premise/setting is kind of boring, but once the show gets more into the consequences and what-ifs of the system (like denizens being sentient, or Apex) it becomes much more interesting. Also I hate talking animal mascot companions.

Really? That's great to hear. On the week leading up to Halloween I plan on watching season 2 and I was worried it was going to be bad.

2 and 3 are about on-par for me. I think that 3 was overall more interesting but 2 I find both comfortable and interesting. 3 was something I can't do frequent re-watches of due to the way things play out.

2=3>1

2>3=1
A good season balances the characters and train setting

2>3>1 but they're all very good

I liked season 1 much more rewatching it after the others. Still technically the weakest, but only because 2 and 3 are much better. I thought 2 was the most well balanced and most enjoyable.

3 < 1 < 2.

1 was fun and I loved trying to guess the mysteries of the train. Tulip was a simple but endearing as a protagonist.

3 didn't have the mystery element but made up for it with Grace and Simons relationship. That being said I slightly prefer Tulip over Grace as I relate to her more. Still great and mostly equal though season 1 is slightly better.

Season 2 is easily the best. I love the "Artificial being gaining sentience" trope and thought the villains were fantastic. Jesse was a surprisingly good character too and played off well with Lake. Had the character of season 3 and the mystery/train exploration of season 1.

1>2>3
no bully pls

The consensus I've seen most of the time here is 2>3>1, but they're all pretty good so it's rather divisive, the only constant I see is that the first season is seen as the weakest.

This. Season 1 is the most bland, but I can understand why it's there. They had to start with a supportive base for general lore before exploring seasons 2 and 3 themes. Season 3 is the best so far, followed very closely by season 2.

Basically, give season 2 and 3 a chance OP, you watched the weakest one, it was basically all set up.
The show is really good, trust me.

Only good when these two were around

I like it the most. It improves the atmosphere, the protagonist conflict, the comedy, the settings and worldbuilding, the best animal sidekick, the list goes on.
Tulip was already so charming, but MT is somehow even better(!)

mT is nothing but criminal sliver filth, and a murderer.

The show was on the verge of being cancelled by dumbfuck higher ups right? What happened?

Reminder that Amelia is a tranny train janny

Yeah, punks are rad

Owen Dennis said it was "too mature" for kids which is why it's at risk of being cancelled.

>too mature for kids
>Kids only understand Fart jokes, dank memes, and being loud 24/7

Kids aren't that stupid, is that what the higher ups think?

2>1>3. 3 is still fine but any other combo is trolling nonsense.

3 could have been the best season but the finale was very rushed, I feel like it should have had thirteen episodes instead of the usual ten.

This. The ending of s3 honestly felt like it got cut off, and more was supposed to happen.

I mean three seasons in animation is typically the boundary before regular benefits kick in, isn't it? It was enough to kill Steven Universe which was semi-popular among normies and kids, it seems like a long shot Infinity Train would be an exception. Maybe we'll get a movie?

Have you met a kid user?

Season 1: Extremely good and original.
Season 2: Absolutely fucking Kino, an absolute delight.
Season 3: Well at least it's not the final season.

Real answer: It was intended to be one of the first shows on HBO's streaming service, things got shuffled around, and it was kind of something leftover that wasn't going to serve its intended purpose, but that they'd put time and money into already.

What you me or him think doesn't matter, it's what the suits think.

>I love the "Artificial being gaining sentience"
Did they even have to gain sentience? I thought the denizens were sapient from the start and what Book 2 tackled was the existential aspect of their existence.
