Speaking as a social/care worker, parents can be the biggest threat to people with learning disabilities living independently. Really hard to work with people when their parents clam up or start using their kid for autism mommy clout.

If he loses the house, then 2 things will happen; Either someone will take him in so they can brag about having Chris and try and make him do things for them, or they’ll be enough support for him through donations that he can find some place to try and rent (he has gotten care packages in the past, and, since he’s trans, there will be enough Twitter people to want to aid a fellow tranny).
