Why do these movies look like shit?
Why do these movies look like shit?
It's a TV show.
That picture is of Avengers Endgame though
There are so many movies put out each year, and it's been running for the last 10 years. Characters will also regress back to their status quo: Spider-Man needing to learn he's better as his own hero in both of his movies, and Tony going back to being Iron Man after Iron Man 3. The visuals reflect the fact that it's a TV show. They could have stronger colors, like in Star Wars, but they choose not to.
It made a billion dollars so explain in heavy detail how your opinion is relevant to a billion dollar movie and break it down for us with your sophisticated poopy movie logic and tear down this multi billion conglomerate for us, show us the way brother.
I'll wait.
>how your opinion is relevant to a billion dollar movie
Didn't say it was, the movie just objectively looks like shit, It's bad filmmaking
You haven't explained why. Sounds like you're just angry at a year-old movie for no real reason.
The Michael bay Transformer movies made a lot of money too, does that make the Bay Transformers movies good?
To kids, yes. There's going to be a generation where the Bayformers is their nostalgic media for their love of Transformers...I'll just let that sink in.
It’s boring. The colors are all muted, the setting is bland and uninspired, the blocking is a joke., the background is needlessly busy and distracting, the characters get lost in this ugly background and the focal point seems to be on a bunch of crates in the foreground. It looks like raw footage that they forgot to color correct. It would be passable in a cheap indie flick, where they have a small crew and can only rent a warehouse for a couple of hours, but for an expensive comic book blockbuster it’s fucking laughable.
>B-But it made a lot of money!
Yeah, which is why they don't put in the effort to have good cinematography because they know you retards will go and watch it no matter what.
Endgame did have some well-framed shots. But this one in particular was shot for comedy more than anything, so I'm not sure that it's the best one to make this argument about. You do raise some good points though.
i actually generally like these movies, but yeah they do "look" like shit a lot of the time. someone compared the colour to looking like wet concrete and I can't unsee it. CGI is laughable a lot of the time too.
the concrete aspect helps to "ground" the silly shit and make it "realistic"
They don't need to make it look good because they know everyone is still going to see it. Case in point, THAT black panther fight scene, and that shitty fucking hulkbuster armor laugh.
>the background is needlessly busy and distracting
What, are they going to film in an empty aircraft hanger? Should there be a tasteful cloth draped behind them so we can't see the trucks and jets?
because 99% of the scenes are filmed in front of a green screen rather then on an actual set/location
That kind of doesn't work when you have a big green Hulk in the shot
That pic literally hurts my eyes
it's an artistic choice
Sounds like you need new glasses.
Why do these movies hurt my brain?
That actually looks good for a 70s tv show
mark ruffalo actually dyed his skin green and gained around 300kg for this role, a huge commitment for any actor, but he also learned how to build PCs, great guy
Fuck off shills you're not fooling anyone
is anyone here a marvel fan and likes these movies? cause i not or barely watches most of them
Suck my dick, and then tell me how you get scenes that take place on-location like that without having aimless clutter scattered all over the place. They aren't going to arrange military installations or airports to be aesthetically pleasing.
>scenes that take place on-location like that
Oh user...
I see youre describing the picture or the scene more than you are about what you have a problem with the films, that's a bit tedious to care about but whatever an attempt was made. 1/10
>cause i not or barely watches most of them
Speak English.
these movies are directed by guys who mostly have experience directing sitcoms
LOL, and user out themselves as the gullible dipshit these movies are tested for. That was amazing.
