Will Space Jam 2 be any good?

No.
Because it has Labron "China is number 1" James.

No, it was of its time and our time now is boring. heavily controlled and full of a mix bag of terrible celebrities and safe space cartoons.

iwtftr

Cope.

dude, SPACE JAM wasn't even good. Why would a sequel be good?

Only if there's a Barkley Gaiden reference.

I suggest we set up some defence mechanism right here right now. The furry are gonna hit hard and fast so we must set up some walls, a moat, and some cannons. Do you think we should put alligators in the moat? Or maybe some bait like a dog to get them in?

It has nothing going for it and everything against it. I sincerely doubt it.

Its going to suck because its not the 90's anymore and the movie feels like a love letter to everything fun and cool during that era. Making one now is going to be a shitty cashgrab devoid of the charm the original had.

Reddit isn't a board. You probably ment.

This. I'm not looking forward to the new one at all.

Are you lost friend? 80% of Zig Forums would fuck cross-dressing bugs without a second thought.

I want to say that this is an outdated mindset and that we have enough smart people around who can create something creative and worthwhile in their own right, but I really don't think we're there.

>This summer, the loony tunes are threatened by a new enemy that wants to destroy them greater than aliens....the taiwanese government, the japanese, the people of hong kong, India, the uyghur people, african chinese expats, and Donald Trump!
>To defeat this new league of evil they must team up with earth's greatest champion
>Lebron James!
>Lebron: "This where I sign up to defend china from it's enemies?"
>Random montage of the loony tunes practicing basketball and gunning down civillians in hong kong.
>Lebron: I need help, are you ready for this?
>Xi Jinping: I was born ready!
>Xi Jinping gets tossed a still beating heart fresh from the body of a dying Uyghur child by James
>Jingping slams the heart into a basketball hoop while sticking his tongue out like Jordan

take your own advice , i accepted long ago that everything is terrible and there's no going back, when will you?

Space Jam is a classic furry flick. If there is no furry bait it's OVER.

No the reality is much worse. Creativity today is stunted and declining. Everything thats been done has been done whether that be Zig Forums material or vidya or Zig Forums material. Its just riding off the coattails of what previous people did, doing a reboot, sequel, remake, remix of something etc.

Probably a fun, dumb movie like the Madagascar films. It technically won't be good but it will be entertaining.

If you're expecting sexy Lola scenes prepare to get woke'd at

Lebron is pretty hated despite being a decent guy compared to most superstars. People rag on Lebron for "supporting" China while everyone ignores Kobe's rapes.

Past a certain point bitching about lack of creativity has to stop and you yourself have to be creative. Otherwise you're just part of the problem.

The real question nobody is asking

Will the Looney Tunes kneel before BLM?

Just a side observation/opinion. Does anyone else think that the Monstar designs in the original are totally boring?

Space Jam sucked.

No because the original was a made by committee commercial for Looney Tunes basketball merchandise.

The original wasn’t really a love letter to the 90s. It was a series of creative decisions made by primarily by executives based on what they believed would either make the movie more marketable or allow them to sell more merchandise.

I'm just hoping for Lola furbait.

>they introduce lady Monstars

Space Jam is generally nowhere near as amazing as anyone remembers it.

Yeah. The love letter was Back in Action that movie bombed.

There is a better spiritual successor to Space Jam.

It's called Crash Team Racing.

Back in Action was awesome

although a bit underwhelming in places

The Monstars as an idea are hilarious, but their designs and how they are in the movie are definitely some of the weakest bits of SJ.

Absolutely not, but it still might be entertaining in spite of being a terrible movie, just like the first one.
