Zig Forums refugee here. Started coming to Zig Forums earlier this year due to covid hiatuses and shitty seasons. Decided to stay for now due to Zig Forums fandoms being slightly less cancerous (if not at least a different kind of cancerous) and because there's a lot of Zig Forums content worth catching up on that's actually quite good.
I have very few regrets.

I love anime but the people on Zig Forums are just so much more fun to talk to. Plus you shouldn't just limit yourself to just one thing. I love cartoons, anime, tokusatsu, and video games, and movies but I'm not just going to forget the rest of them because of one being better (when tokusatsu obviously is the superior choice).

I just like animation, regardless of where it comes from. I get really excited when it comes from somewhere obscure.

Because Zig Forums franchises do japanese culture better than animu shit, i fucking hated that naruto shit 2 episodes in there was nothing ninja about it they were fucking wizards with colorful clothes, now TMNT 2003, 2012 and Rise those are some real ninja skills and they fucking get mystic japanese stuff right when it comes to Yokai, no fucking anime does that because they always turn any monster or magic creature into girls

Anime is actually very generic once you've seen enough of them.
They are full of cliches and most of their art is the same style. I still watch some anime, there are good ones on occasion, but cartoons have more variety.
