Yes, it was the perfect chance to go on a high note.
>Made thematic sense for the character
>Tony's OCD wouldn't let the new faces shine
>RDJ was probably tired after 2 decades and just wanted to raise his alpacas in peace and try new roles

Are you seriously wanting RDJ to make more Iron Man movies?

No.

No, they could have had him turn into an AI. However it was a perfect thematic fit, he was the opposite to Thanos, he died to protect his family, friends, world etc, completes his arc totally. Plus, RDJ is old and probably taking it easy now because his life has been ravaged by substance abuse and he wants to do stupid shit like Dolittle to entertain his young kids.

In-canon, I've got over 14 million possible futures that all say "yes."

In a metatextual sense, see

I was thinking, they are going to do this multiverse thing and there is a Tom Cruise rumor about him being multiverse Tony Stark. What if their plan is to pull that Tony Stark and put him in the real world and have him be a new Tony Stark for like 2 or 3 movies because Cruise is old and expensive so I doubt he could do more. Imagine if they did this and we got a more comic accurate Stark, one that doesn't quip and is cold and calculated?

He have to.

His contract was costing Marvel too much

A new Stark, be in Cruise or someone else who acts completely different than RDJ Stark and maybe eventually becomes a bad guy could be based. Like Spiderman tries to get mentor advice from him and he says no way fag and pushed him away.

Don't trick me into going to marvel movies again. Far From Home broke the curse.

Please not Tom Cruise, get a younger actor who is sexually attractive.

And Tony has never been cold and calculating in his comics except when he was Superior, he’s always been a melodramatic bleeding heart with big ideas.

>mfw they do Superior Iron Man

Why not use the time stone to revive Tony and have everyone attack Thanos at once while letting Carol wipe up everyone else since she's super powerful?
Why didn't Wong send Thanos to the mirror dimension? Why didn't Wong decap attack Thanos with a portal?

Why isn't Wong an Avenger?

Tom Cruise is playing Tony Stark from the Raimiverse

Why didn’t Ant-Man not simply just go up Thanos’ thanus then grow giant?

It's assumed every "But what if?" was seen by Strange and we got the only one that worked.
Or, Dr Strange really hates Tony so he went with the one where Tony dies.

the mouse was so impressed of Logan that they need to have a similar scene so his animated movie is remembered.

Man , endgame was mediocre as fuck but mouseshills gonna eat trash i guess

That would be sweet but going back to Ironman still feels like cheating. Maybe they can use Norman as he also has a strong connection with Peter.

>Far From Home
You've watched every Marvel movie and that was the breaking point?

Not all of them by a longshot but for normies this is an acceptable exit point.

RDJ probably said he’d only return if they gave him a controlling share in Disney, they were pretty much just giving him millions to be mostly CGI and hang out with his friends in Infinity War/Endgame.

>Did he really had to die?

Not really, they were already winning against Thanos. Tony with the full loaded Gauntlet could've held a tired Thanos with no Gauntlet at bay; Thor could've curbstomped him at that point. The army was already dwindled due tot he decision to fire at their own men.

He doesn't need to and bringing a different stark back with ulterior possibly evil motives is 100 times more interesting

>"In my universe the Avengers got Pepper and my daughter killed so I want to save them and kill the Avengers here"

I dunno something like that

In what world does a fully loaded gauntlet not kill a human? Humans can't handle 1 stone. As soon as he puts it on he starts burning up with rainbow juice.

Yes, RDJ didn't want to be in these shit movies anymore

Also, another snap made sense for Tony. It was the weapon you only have to fire once. The more he prolongued the fight the more people were at risk of dying, and it would make him look like a selfish guy again. Man was ready to go, he could feel it in his bones.

I hate how "the snap" has become a big thing that overshadows everything and not just the stylized way of using the weapons that really didn't get harped on after Thanos snapped in the comics. Is the snap even required to use it I don't remember.

I think RDJ's just too old to play Tony at this point.

Really, he only looked young in Iron Man 1. From Iron Man 2 onward he looked exhausted as fuck.

You would be exhausted if you were Iron Man too with that responsibility. Look at Obongo from when he was president to the end how much stress can fuck with you and this is on top of the +50% Black don't Crack buff he has on

That was 13,999,999 of the futures that Doctor Strange saw.
Just Ant-man if different orifices with varying degrees of buffs from allies, Thanos having debuffs, being weakened, wearing different underwear.
13,999,999 times before Strange looked for something other than Antman expansion
