Mentally, you’re ill.

looks comfy

It makes my knees weak

Disney is a cool place to go once or twice, but I'll never understand people who are obsessed with it and go constantly, it seems like a huge money sink

I agree with you for everything but epcot, I love epcot, been at least 10 times. It's the only park that doesn't feel completely soulless after going a lot.

I find there are far cheaper and enjoyable parks close to Disney. I got more kicks at Knotts than I ever did at Disney Land.

Land is a one-and-done trip but it's hard to grow tired of World, especially if you check into different hotels each trip rather than sticking with the same one

what so special about a giant golf ball

The comfy dark ride journeying through the history of civilization.

Probably escapism.
If things in the real world are going terribly, why not ignore it and enjoy the happiest place on earth?

I also watch the episode. I find it funny how many people bounced on the idea once Walt died. Like none of them had the balls to tell him his epcot idea was bad.

episode?

WED actually tried selling the transportation systems to different cities and such, both monorails and peoplemovers. Only one that ever got built was a Peoplemover at the Houston Airport that's still running to this day.

>Frozen Ever After replacing Maelstrom
>Figment is still dead
>Innoventions is never coming back and is being torn down as we speak
>more IP Tie Ins like Moana, the Disney Now Play Area, and fucking Guardians of the Galaxy
>Illuminations is going to be replaced with some faggy shit projection show that won't even have any sick ass firework kites like the temp show
I don't think I can be dealing with this, Animal Kingdom is only park that didn't go full retard

So morphine for all?

The future of the shortsighted past?

I miss the optimism of EPCOT and Star Trek. That genuine belief that people with the right technology and the right will would hold hands and learn to sing kumbaya. That shit warms my heart like no other

Yeah, then they said killing little girls is part and parcel of society and I realized that was all fucking bullshit.

Wuh? When?

Animal Kingdom sorta sucks. I went there for the first time in forever. The good. I got to ride Everest for the first time, enjoyed it, did it twice. Flight of Passage blows Soarin the fuck out. And the only other ride I like was the Kali River Rapids.
The bad. Dinosaur I just hate because it's dark, as in, there's nothing to fucking see. It seems outdated as fuck, and I wish but probably not gonna is to retheme it to Indiana Jones. And Navi River Journey just fucking sucks.
The rest I'm not crazy about, Bug's Life was neat, but I never did the safari.
The worst that can happen is if they add a Wakanda area.

>>Figment might be getting turned into a Moomin for VR bullshit

Fixed.

Oh yeah a lot of his ideas were really sound and pretty fucking amazing for the time, but he just had a vision that couldn't realistically work.

>>>Figment might be getting turned into a Moomin for VR bullshit
YOU LEAVE MOOMIN OUT OF THIS

Attaching dragony bits to him is a terrible idea for a Figment redesign though. At the very least with that "One Day at Disney" segment that teased this the fuck out of nowhere, they were emphasizing sculpting a more traditional Figment as if they had come to their senses to not needlessly break the character again.

I dunno Kev, Dinosaur is alright with me. I feel it's the only Park that really ever kept to it's theming well unlike Epcot and went for really immersive as well. They also always have like a neat walk around character they experiment with. Like I've seen puppet polar bear and penguins as well as an impressive looking Kevin. Also give the safari trails and the Discover center a look. You know it is part zoo after all.
Huh, weird but I like it

Naw man, you want full epcot comfy? Check this out.

Lean back and dream of Figment and Innoventions while listening to this:

well there isn't much point going now with the covid shit. Maybe in a few years

Well Disney has basically stopped all future projects and are just trying to survive now. So who knows what they'll do.

They just laid of a whopping 30,000 employees, all people dedicated to the "atmosphere" of WDW like imagineers, dancers, characters, PR reps, etc

I love Dinosaur but it was a bit better when it was CTX. I think they could up it back to the way it used to be.

Kilimanjaro is great.

What the fuck is this from?

>2025
>Go to WDW
>State of Florida only allows 50% capacity
>Have to wear mask the entire time, park full of little kids screaming about wearing a mask
>The flagship, Magic Kingdom, is barely being kept afloat and hasn't added any new attractions since 2019
>No shows, no snack stands, no characters, no parades
>Peter Pan Flight, Monsters Inc. Floor, Space Ranger Shooter, Frontier Shooting Range all since closed
>Hall of Presidents and Splash Mountain shut down but Disney can't afford to replace them
>Monorail has since been shut down
>Epcot is just Spaceship Earth and the country pavillions. Construction on all new attractions still on hiatus
>animal kingdom is now safari-only, all attractions closed and disney is forced to operate it as a safari zoo alongside the World Wildlife Foundation to keep it afloat
>Hollywood Studio forced to shut down Runaway Railway and TOT as it's indoors, Muppet Theater and Indiana Jones closed.
>Rise of the Resistance has since shut down after all the ride cast members were laid off, leaving only the shitty Millennium Falcon ride in GE. To avoid lines you can only go on it by reservation as your own group
>Hotels have shut down all pools, arcades, and special activities
>Bus rides from Hotel now take 1-2 hours due to the regulations against loading them to capacity
>Star Wars Hotel construction has been abandoned, leaving a semi-built husk in the middle of the parks. It is one of many
>Sit down near the Walt and Mickey statue and cry, before I'm told I can't stand here as it doesn't have a covid foodprint spot on the ground
