Current dominate theory is the big four senet beasts had some kind of an accord with early man/Two-Toes and Tirna broke whatever rule she broke by creating or helping to create whatever sette and the boy with the lion's mane are. Time has distorted the facts onto mythology but Sette is seemingly cursed to walk the earth either through a modified version of the traditional reincarnation cycle or some other means not yet explained while tittybird is trapped in the khert. Ssael was involved at some point in some way but we don't know how.

Well a common theory is that Tirna is Sessine (not used to that name), who is Settes mother. So Sette may well be Tirna's daughter in a sense

The obvious representation of Tirna is Sessine. We even already have a Yerta to go with that Tirna, and knowledge that there are four special senet beasts- enough that each one will represent one of the twins. I'm pretty sure Ashley actually explicitly confirmed they represent them/have parallels. Although she didn't confirm whether they're supposed to be them.

Ashley has specifically stated we don't know enough to find out. And nothing on this page hints at what she is anyway. This chapter is about getting Duane and Sette into a bad place. Duane being an asshole to Sette, who's at the end of the day just a sad, scared unaging kid dealing with some trauma. Is she fucking up badly here? Yeah. But she's still a kid.

This. I don't get the people acting like Sette is horrible. She's a scared kid that saw an adult about to do something STUPIDLY dangerous and used a macguffin (that she should never have been entrusted with) to stop him, as nearly every kid on Earth would do in her place.

Just because she's a kid doesn't mean she's not horrible in a lot of ways. She shouldn't be treated like a horrible adult maybe but if she were an adult, yeah she would be a horrible one who steals cheats and lies

Sure, stopping him from doing murdering is understandable. But she is using said macguffin to have him participate in her pretend fantasy, which is the real crux of the problem. This is something she has to realize and overcome. Living in your best world does not include forcing your friend to play pretend
