Krabs is meant to be almost an old man at this point, id say somewhere in his 50's.

Still weird, the age difference would be pretty huge, I know we don't know Krabs's age but he should still be at least like 30 here.

Though I guess its pretty obvious they're throwing all canon out the window for this.

He should have known that once Nickelodeon green lit spongebob he had no say on what they want to do with it. Spongebob has already been whored out like Garfield

If Sponge is 13 at the beginning of the series, than yeah, Krabs shouldn't be too much younger than in the main series.

It actually came out in Canada and it turns out it's just an alternative retelling of the first movie

Is this meant to be a non-canon spinoff? Because I'm sure Mr. Krabs is at least 40 years older than Spongebob, and Squidward is quite older than him as well. Also stupid that Sandy and Spongebob in this knew each other as kids.

Sandy looks kind of off.

Too many contrasting details in her design, it looks very out of place compared to the rest of the characters whose designs mostly still have the same "flow" as they do in the show. Sandy, on the other hand:
