>self proclaimed love letter to Spider-Man
>Spider-Man dies in the first 15 minutes
>AU Spider-Man is a washed up, cynical boomer
I fail to see the love in this movie
Self proclaimed love letter to Spider-Man
I see you missed the whole point of the movie.
Why does Spider-Man need to be a generational thing? I thought the character was universal, and still holds up today. His morals, his struggles, the relationships he surrounds himself around, these things don't change. So why does Marvel treat Spider-Man like a title that needs to be handed off to someone other than Peter Parker?
>Spider-Man
>Peter Parker
>Blonde
?
Because Batman Beyond, and Flash showed how making a new version to grab "new readers" is generally successful
Simple Peter isn't a nigger or a faggot.
Peter isn’t blonde
Aryan Peter
it's a piece of shit kike love letter to niggers
>I fail to see the love in this movie
Are you Mr Enter or just similarly retarded?
>AU Spider-Man dies in the first 15 minutes
>Spider-Man is a washed up, cynical boomer
FTFY
It was a cynical corporate project to get us to accept that "Anyone can be Spider-man™". That way they can sell us movie about countless knockoffs that appeal to countless demographics.
>AU Spider-Man is a washed up, cynical boomer
Reminds me of when Junior was still drawing
>characters have to be perfect in order to be loved
Best idea they had in years.
That's not 616 Peter
>need to be a generational thing? I thought the character was universal
Most other form of media besides comics depict Peter in highschool. Yet in comics he was only depicted as this for a short time before going off to college.
They introduced OZ Goblin so if he follows the course of Ultimate Peter, he's not dead.
Spider-Man always gets up.
>they killed off corporate, brand-man
>a super hero that licenses his image and plasters it on everything
>oh no what every shall we do without him?
Both Peters are shit btw, but at least Peter B. suffers from his actions in the long term.
>OP mad cuz blonde spiderman died
>Fucking nazi
>this is all Spider-Man will ever be now
>multiverse shit over and over again
>no great power, great responsibility, person growing up, living a life, failing to maintain balance
>making the hard choices, not the easy ones
>no fuck all that, we need Spider-Gwen and miles, and comedy and multiverse
>now even the movies are doing the fucking multiverse spider-man shit
>>Peter isn’t blonde
The best one is
it looks pretty
I did this shit of putting my arm in people's shoulders so much unconsciously when I was in school.
Because a cuck writer learned that he didn't have to make new characters or write interesting stories when he hit it big, so he just shits out black characters with no rhyme or reason and attaches them to already popular characters and niggers and cucks eat it right up because they have no opinions or self esteem to want new things
It's NOT a love letter to Spider-man, its a love letter to bendis and it pretty much shits on the heart of Spider-man. LEGO Batman, now THERE is a love letter to a franchise done well and uses the whole cast to tell a nice story with a fitting moral
Damn son this movie has you rectally ravaged yo
Are you implying Peter Parker can't be cynical? Try reading Ditko or anything from the early '90s
>>AU Spider-Man is a washed up, cynical boomer
He is a hard done by, cynical boomer aka. 616 Peter Parker, who manages to find his footing and gain the strength to carry on by the end of the film.
First they butcher the entire original point of spiderman (a teenage superhero that wasn't just a sidekick) by making him a Tony stark sidekick in the movies.
Then they pushed that, despite his character very explicitly working because of who he specifically is and his growth over time from a selfish bullied nerd to someone who takes responsibility for his power and actions through a great personal tragedy... now anyone can be that, cheapening everything about him.
Spider-verse is a very pretty movie with great experimental animation, written with lots of craft and care by talented people, and is by all accounts a good, even great movie. But it's only superficially so. It's a fundamentally good movie, but it's a spiritually corporate movie that's almost worse than if they'd just made a bad movie, because they've fundamentally subverted the spirit of what the original was to the point of erasure.
Peter B is 616 Peter though.
spiderfags really do self-insert my god
Because peters struggles are in nature just young people problems, compared to other heroes who are true adult fantasies and concepts, peter is a hero aimed to express youth and trying to become mature even at the hight of his adult stories like being a teacher or a married man he was still a young and rash kid to the hero community. And peter being as mature as cap or supes in his concept doesnt work so if he grows up and embraces true adult responsibility, he becomes un needed if not finished, so his tale of great responsibility gets passed on to another young mantle like mayday, miles or just a rebooted teenaged peter.
Spiderverse was good
>Nearly 10 years later, autists still haven't gotten over Miles
This was honestly probably the best Spider Man film we've ever gotten
Its true, miles fags get off on miles internal story about never having to make your own way because the highest they can achieve is killing a white dude and coasting on his accomplishments
