Are you so stupid that you can't tell the difference between a supporting cast/motivation, and a fucking plot? Because yes, we didn't want another fucking origin, and no, we didn't want everything that was Spider-Man fucking gutted to appease casuals like yourself.
Now go fuck off back to Zig Forums
Anthony Morgan
This sort of black and white, extreme vs. extreme thinking is symptomatic of autism.
Jason Roberts
Zendaya’s character is not Mary Jane, she is literally called Michelle
Grayson Williams
I want to fuck Zendaya.
Zachary Lopez
You dumb faggots just wanted the same shit again. 5 fucking movies retreading the same, countless tv shows, thousands of comics retreading the same shit and you get assblasted over two movies?
>Muh Uncle Ben they either could have A: fleshed the fuck out of Uncle Ben compared to the other movies to give his death more impact or B: fastforwarded past it. they chose C: replace him with FUCKING IRON MAN
>old Aunt May I never, even as a very young child (5 or 6) understood why "Aunt" May was like 90 fucking years old. how old were Peter's parents when they had him? New Aunt May is an improvement.
>muh white Mary Jane more ginger erasure, Hollywood won't stop until the very concept of red hair ceases to exist
>Muh origin story literally just fucking given his shit by Iron Man, terrible and lazy. almost every other major MCU player got an origin.
>Muh Spidey swinging around NYC kind of the heart and soul of Spider-Man when he's not being a civilian. the montage of him fucking up his new powers in Spider-Man 1 is peak soul.
>Muh goblins I don't mind different villains. hell Vulture is one of the best MCU villains still.
Also I'll say it, Tom Holland sucks ass compared to Tobey and I don't even know if I like him more than Garfield.
Daniel Davis
Gee, it's almost like they got it right the first time and bringing Spider-Man back to a "start over" point and fighting Oscorps feels like a step back while the recent reboot changes most of the iconic elements of Spider-Man so he feels shallower.
Jaxon Cox
Nice strawman, OP. Take your asshurt back to your board
Elijah Smith
>”Muh Uncle Ben” Now it's "Muh Tony" to the extent Uncle Ben is forgotten except for a throwaway joke.
Juan Peterson
>more ginger erasure, Hollywood won't stop until the very concept of red hair ceases to exist
The latest media to do this is the incoming new Batman film where Gordon is now a black man. Bullshit like this is why I hope the Jews of Hollywood die. Fuck off with changing white characters around and believe me this isn't just aimed at Gingers, the first Burton Batman movie had a Harvey Dent who was black with the implication Two Face would become a villain Burton would use in a future film (thank god it never came to pass). Let's not forget Black Cat Woman Earha Kitt. I don't care how skilled she is, she is NOT Catwoman simply because her skin is black.
Fuck this white erasure bullshit that the Jewish parasites in America are enforcing. Don't be surprised if April in TMNT continues to be black anyway despite Rise failing. And another thing I'm tired of the fetishization of dark skinned people from Craig of the Creek, to Amphibia, to Owl House, to that new Disney cartoon with the girl and the ghost. This garbage is everywhere and it's seriously annoying. Let's not forget Black Little Mermaid that's coming and after that Black Tinkerbelle.
Brandon Ortiz
>talking shit on Eartha Kitt literally fuck you
Thomas Rodriguez
I didn't even bother watching Amazing Spider-Man, but I will say the reason I had no interest is that it looks like those 2000's films with blue filters all the time and less of the Raimi sporadic campiness.
MCU Spider-Man only feels like Spider-Man when he's not in his own films. Like, Civil War Spider-Man was great. But the moment we get to his own film, everything feels like a farce. 5 years of people being dead is now the "Blip". Spider-Sense is "Peter Tingle". The entire film feels like an older sister who just embarrassing you in front of people you're meeting for the first time. Nothing is treated with seriousness, and what is serious just sort of goes very quickly. Fun fact, what is the moral of Spider-Man Homecoming? He constantly fucks things up to the point that it gets people endangered. So in the climax...he almost causes another 9/11 and gets his ass handed to him while the Vulture's suit jus blows up. There's no moral or point that Peter realizes he needs to change. He just ditches his friends again and endangers lives. And then in Far From Home, they revealed that Tony Stark had an assassin drone program that he could just say "Kill all jews" and the robots would do that. At no point did they go "This is fucked up tech" and Spider-Man learn that his idolization of Tony Stark is rose tinted glasses. No, it's just Spider-Man learning to chase after the bad guy again. Fucking hell, Spider-Man ignores Michelle through the first film only to start the sequel OBSESSED over her. They could have done a more nuance take where Peter was still in grief over Tony, and Michelle keeps getting stuck with him, and they open up that way. But instead we get love triangle shit.
Honestly, MCU Spider-Man is so baffling to me cause I see people so obsessed with defending it, when I'm almost convinced everyone just wants to rape Tom Holland.
Parker Brown
Fuck you.
Blake Campbell
>Blacks living in your head rent free
David Wilson
I want a damn movie that has soul like the Raimi trilogy
Daniel Young
Not Spineless Spider-Pussy that's for sure.
Ayden Sanders
Just because they're "new" doesn't mean they aren't bad.
Anthony Wilson
You don't need to see Uncle Ben literally die on screen for it to be Spider-Man's primary motivation for being a hero instead of fame and impressing Tony Stark.
Far from Home *mostly* fixed the things I didn't like about Homecoming even if I still don't like Tony Stark replacing Uncle Ben.
Luis Lee
>I never, even as a very young child (5 or 6) understood why "Aunt" May was like 90 fucking years old. how old were Peter's parents when they had him? What are older siblings? >more ginger erasure That's not a thing.
Sebastian Scott
Can't tell if serious post.
Alexander Baker
I actually liked the origin depicted in Amazing Spider-Man except Peter buying webbing from Oscorp, but those movies shit the bed with everything else like Peter's parents. Insomniac Spider-Man was pretty good. It had all the classic Spider-Man background stuff, but it was just background. It was a self contained story that showed but didn't need to explain 8 years of Spider-Man's career. Spider-Man had a nice start in Civil War, but it didn't delve too deep into his character. Then he became Iron Boy.
Ian Mitchell
>what the fuck do you faggots want The Raimi movies, which I already have.
Sebastian Barnes
This post is too long for me to even read based on what it's talking about, but I skimmed it and you're stupid.
William Perez
I think the drone tech is just another part of nothing being treated seriously. They have no interest in what it represents, or what Peter as a kid taking over the Avengers would mean. It really is just a Iron Man comedy story with action setpieces that they used Spiderman characters to tell
Hunter Morgan
>defending cgi spiderman suit >defending shitty tony cocksucker peter
anyone here have the anti mouse spray?
William Thomas
I would pay to see Sam Raimi do anything.
Jaxson Bennett
>>”Muh white Mary Jane”
Mary Jane is white. We need to cast characters who fit the role not change the role for diversity points especially when the on they got is fucking garbage.
Carter Gomez
Yeah, Michelle Jones. These dickheads would confuse fucking Lois Lane and Lana Lang because their names start with the same letters...
Parker Thompson
the problem that EVERYTHING is Iron Man centric, the villains, the tech, spider man is the reaction, not the cause
Nicholas Ross
>”It’s too similar to the Raimi movies! Why do we need this origin story again!?” That wasn't the main issue with TASM, in fact it wasn't even an issue.
Kevin Perry
I'm sure the problem with TASM was the Oscorp/Parker subplot that not even Sony was sure it was worth building an universe on.
Lincoln Young
>MCU Spider-Man only feels like Spider-Man when he's not in his own films. The current director is a hack. This Spider-Man had so much promise when I saw him in Civil War but they took the worst parts and dialed them up to 11 for the solo films.
