WASTED CASTING

Mark Strong was an S-tier casting sadly wasted on a weak movie. Strong's Sivana isn't nearly as interesting.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.

>ben kingsley as the mandarin
Nice
>updated to make him bin laden-esque
Very nice
>surprise he's a joke character and the real "mandarin" is some boring dude
Oh

He was great.

He was the best part of that movie my dude

But wasted in the Aquaman movie.

This

He's going to be the main villain of Aquaman 2

The point of this thread is perfect castings wasted on bad movies.
Learn to read.

Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans fucking with each other was the best parts of these movies.

Man, it was a great joke, shame it completely ruins the second half of the movie and most rewatch enjoyment.

It's incredible how boring this guy was. For me he is the absolute worst villain of the MCU. What a waste of Mads Mikkelsen

I really like them as their characters, Alba was just a sex-doll in a blue jumpsuit and whoever Reed was did alright, but the actual fucking movie was well, you know...

The F4 movie was campy and dumb but, so is the source material. I feel like it aged better than a lot of other superhero movies from the pre-MCU era.

Between the movie being shit, the character being locked into licensing hell, and the actor dying, this was a massive wasted op.

I want Walton Goggins as Norman Osborne

Yes so why did you mention Aquaman?

>Mads will probably never get to play Doom

Exactly. I’ll give them credit for keeping it under wraps until release, but ultimately it’s just such a left field fallacy because it would suggest that the entire Ten Rings organization was fabricated just for this one eventual cover up scheme even though they’d been active in the Middle East for ages doing unrelated shit. Which of course made so little sense they had to make a whole short to retcon it, but by then it was too late.

Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio was good casting in a shit movie

Hear me out. Imagine if he’d played him like the cartoon version, which had just recently become the new popular rendition. Imagine Arnie, with the red goggles, talking in a creepy monotone and dishing out vengeance with ruthless Terminator style efficiency. He’d be big and menacing and a little sad, a perfect contrast to Uma Thurman’s hyper passionate Ivy. It could’ve been pure kino.

>Actual terrorists
>Ironman, stane, warmachine, and the military decimated it
>Killian uses them since they're a known
>the mandarin let's it slide. As he can use this.

Aquaman was a mix between good and bad.

From the same movie.

Viola Davis is a better Waller anyway

Why didn't they just get CCH Pounder?

Honestly both movies I can rewatch still, whereas I really can’t rewatch iron man 2 or 3, Spider-Man homecoming, or a lot of the Mcu movies.

Harley Quinn actress in both her movies. Boomerang in the first suicide squad movie

Aquaman was a good movie

IM2 I can still watch, but IM3 I legit only saw once in theaters and try not to think about it.

Not famous enough
