I'm not getting butthurt over any of this because I ultimately don't give a shit. I stopped watching television ENTIRELY like 12 years ago. That being said, some classics are better left as classics. I fucking love Angry Beavers to bits, just like this show, but it's simply not something that needs to have a reboot.
But I still think a Rev Jack episode would be fun to have either way. For so long John K had punished animators and actors alike, it's time for payback time. There's never enough payback time. But it's all for gags you know? Rev. Jack while may be taking potshots at John K, yeah, but it's not like the kids have had any idea about that. It works just as nicely as a regular deranged wacky episode, the bread and butter of R&S, nothing out of the ordinary. You could do that same thing, today.
And what would be even more interesting about that is how would they tackle the infamous pedo allegations, if they wanted to make another episode like that at all.
