Joker is right for the wrong reasons. Batman's war on crime is never ending. Yet Gotham's problems are systemic. And a lot of that has to do with the greater socio-economic problems the nation faces as a whole. Bruce can hand out jobs until he's blue in the face, but without addressing the greater macrosocietal causes, Gotham is just going to be continued to be mired in unstable poor, gangs, drugs, and corruption. Barbara had the right idea that time when she put aside her cape and ran for Congress. But Bruce isn't psychologically mature enough to do more than punch criminals in the face.

Well he is continuing the tradtiion of Bruce having to be resuced by a female character every two issues or so and a woman always being the one who gets the finishing blow on the villain while batman cowards in fear on the ground, now only with Harley instead of Selinia.
Then again that is the norm for every white male hero in comics these days thanks to lefties and sjws.

See, if it was any other writer i'd say that DC would never do this precisely for that reason. Any straight male who did this would be labelled homophobic and problematic by the crazy HarleyxIvy shippers.
