Fusion isn't sex, it's a representation of all kinds of love such as friendship, family and relationships

>Fusion isn't sex, it's a representation of all kinds of love such as friendship, family and relationships
>Also Peridot can't fuse because she's asexual
No matter what this will always be complete bullshit to me

Peridot can fuse but she refuses to.
Like an asexual can have sex but refuse to.

You can't have your cake and eat it to, that was the point I was making. Either fusion is 100% sex or it's not.

Peridot looks rather young especially in behavior, it could be she’s childlike (7-11) is the reason. But asexual gets more woke points

But I just proved you wrong.
Asexuals can have sex but don't.

I totally believe that fusion representing all kinds of relationships was the original intention. The problem is the laidback production style of the show enabled random crew members to insert their own interpretations of things. This is the cause of most of the problems with the show really.

Completely missing the point here but aight.

It doesn't help how the Garnet and Amethyst dance is portrayed as overtly sexual to the point of Pearl covering Steven's eyes, yet still claim its not sex.

Why does fusion create pleasure in the first place?

Malachite didn’t look like a good time.

You're not getting the point that in certain cases fusion is portrayed as non sexual at all like Steg (some would disagree) and Smokey Quartz (Diamond). In those cases is because both parties do not perceive the fusion as sexual.
So now you're saying that peridot wrongfully thinks all fusions are sexual, that whoever is the other part of the fusion has sexual thoughts for her (or again that's what peridot perceives) or that the show is admitting all fusions have a sexual connotation in a roundabout way.

No one ever says Peridot doesn't fuse because she's asexual. She never has a romantic relationship, but also just happens to think fusion is not he cup of tea. It's completely unrelated.

I think that gems can have real sexual pleasure if they shapeshift sexual organs but fusion with someone you are or can be emotionally connected can give you a rush of emotional pleasure.
Have you guys been a serious romantic relationship? Is like when you're hugging very tightly your partner and talking about something you like together, is a very real but different form of pleasure.

It's portrayed that way because Amethyst is fucking twerking her ass.

You just told me what I already said so you can see I got the point.

Romantic pleasure doesnt feel like ahegao though

Never saw that sort of reaction from the gems.
Including Pearl and when she was cheating to get fused, mostly memers took thst interpretation of 1:1 sex

How can "relationships" not be your cup of tea while Peridot simultaneously tries to desperately befreind Lapis while being happy she has new friends?

Rebecca Sugar is a pedophile

I meant a romantic relationship. She does not want a romantic relationship like Pearl does, or like you see with Ruby and Sapphire. Her relationship with Lapis never goes beyond platonic. That disinterest in romantic relationships is totally unrelated to her disinterest in fusion. They're not connected.

Except fusion doesn't just represent romance, according to Sugar. It represents relationships. So not wanting fusion means not wanting relationships. Which makes no sense for Peridot.

Are you retarded?
I'm saying that they're not related. YOU'RE trying to say it's related.
Peridot just happens to both dislike romantic relationships and dislike fusion. They're entirely unrelated to each other. She is asexual because she doesn't want a romantic relationship. She is not asexual because she dislikes fusion.

Except it makes no FUCKING SENSE for her to dislike fusion which is supposed to be a metaphor for ALL relationships, not JUST a relationship for romance you retard. Otherwise, we would've seen her fuse with someone like Steven, a friend, not just reject it all outright.

It's a metaphor but it's also just a damn action. You're taking it too literally. Think of Rose not being able to physically fuse with Greg. It's a fucking metaphor, not a literal example of relationships. Learn what a fucking metaphor means.

This is exactly why Sugar's explanation of fusion is fucking retarded. You have to contradict yourself just to justify this retarded busted metaphor.

I don't know how else to explain to you that a metaphor by definition means not being literal, you fucking moron.

I don't know how to explain to you that the metaphor contradicts itself and everyone in this thread but you can see it, you fucking moron.

You literally can't explain WHY Peridot doesn't like fusion without it eventually going to Sugar's canon explanation that she represents asexuals, which means fusion is NOT a general metaphor for relationships but a sexuality metaphor, which breaks a lot of fucking aspects in the show. Peridot being against fusion 100% is the one tear in the entire metaphor that causes it to come crumbling down.

Give it up buddy it's not worth defending the sanctity of fusion when we all know it's sex

Technically only Peridot’s VA said that, not Sugar

Why wouldn’t it make her uncomfortable? It’s fusing your mind with someone else

Peridot can never a strong friendship or relationship with anyone then? that's retarded
